This is just wrong on so many levels.  I know about 15 people who have cancelled their Netflix subscription in the past 24 hours.

Quote

Per the Sundance description of “Cuties,” the film “nimbly depicts the tweens’ youthful energy and vulnerabilities while exploring their fumbling eagerness to be identified as sexualized. Fathia Youssouf captivates as Amy, shifting like a chameleon between the different identities her character is juggling and deftly anchoring the film’s immensely watchable, vivacious young cast.”

I'm glad I cancelled Netflix  long ago. They raised my subscription after replacing most of the shows the kids liked with complete rubbish  to save on licensing costs. There are too many better alternatives nowadays to be playing that game.

I do youtube TV. Not quite cable but adequate for what I use.

I would guess all the publicity has the ratings on that flick thru the roof

What did you go with instead?  I have Netflix because it is free thru my cell provider, plus Amazon, which we have anyway.  Haven't had cable TV in many years, but am open to suggestions.  I hear FireTV is pretty good, but haven't tried it yet.

We have a FireTV stick and Nvidia Sheild TV. Set up Kodi on both. Haven't actually used either in a while though so they probably need to be updated. Nobody really watches TV. The kids like watching stuff on Youtube.

We have both a Fire stick and Shield TV Pro. It really depends on the source of your library.. if it's purely stream, it doesn't matter, the shield costs more, but the Fire stick usually gets by (get the HD/4k one when on sale), but if you're like us and have a NAS/home cloud, and use a few streaming apps, the shield is definitely where you wanna go. The shield has a normal version and pro, pro is basically if you want a better remote/controller and an internal hard drive for plex/DLNA. Shield can also be used in PC gaming, but I've never bothered with it. The shield has decent enough specs to where it can smoothly run retro emulators up to early Playstation (PS1/2) and Gamecube. We also use the little keyboard/laptop mouse combo USB remotes for the shield, helps in not having to sit there and fiddle with moving arrows to get to each letter.

How do you cancel if the account is not in your name.

Asking for a friend.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
