My wife's AOS NOA 1, has a July 23rd as the day USCIS accepted her application and so far there hasn't been any movement on the case when we check online. Should we worry?

Does it depend on the field office at that stage? As far as I know, once the files have been sent to the field office, the status should say "Ready to be scheduled for an interview". My PD is 6/17 and I am still stuck at "Fingerprints were taken". I am not sure what is taking them too long to send my file to my field office.

even before the pandemic USCIS already slow, and it doesnt help after that they closed for few months and create backlog

i know its easy for me to say be patient, but i think that's the only think u can do at the moment. at least they processing your files

Today we received the biometrics appointment notification. What a relief! At least the case is moving.

They received her application on July 23rd and she received her biometrics appointment today ? . Awesome! They received mine on August 31 , should expect it next month then

My timeline is as follows:

• 7/31/2020 - Application sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox using FedEx 
• 8/03/2020 - Application received by USCIS
• 8/13/2020 - Checks cashed by USCIS
• 8/25/2020 - NOAs received in the mail (date on the NOAs 8/19/2020)

Still no biometrics though ... 

 

I called USCIS twice. The first time they told me that they can't say anything as to when biometrics will be scheduled. When I called last Friday, they told me to expect a notice regarding biometrics appoitment  between October 12-26.
