Mylene is currently arranging the documents for her interview on July 9th, does anyone care to share their opinion on the following question.

Would the pictures that we have together in the Philippines be better suited with her packet for proof of meeting prior to relationship or her packet for proof of genuine relationship?

Thanks,

CB

CB:

* Proof of meeting prior to relationship, per Packet 4 consists of: "A few photographs of the applicant and petitioner together during the specified time may serve as evidence of this requirement."

* Proof of genuine relationship, per Packet 4 consists of: "Letters, e-mails, phone records, bank records, photographs, or other evidence of a genuine fiancé(e) relationship..."

In practice, all of the evidence that the beneficiary presents/supplies illustrating the nature of the relationship for the visa interview is considered proof of relationship (letters, phone records and etc...) and is one and the same to the USE (proof of meeting prior to relationship and her packet for proof of genuine relationship) even though they call them out separately in Packet 4. In fact there is a great possibility that the pre-screeners may only ask for the beneficiary's documents (BC, NBI Clearance and etc) and only pictures as proof of relationship evidence. However, be prepared for whatever they request, which your beloved definitely will be.

Cheers!!!

Sheriff made some good points but to answer your question, I just used one folder for all our pictures together and labeled it as "Proof of meeting prior to application and proof of on-going / genuine relationship". The pre-screener just picked some of our nice pictures - maybe around 6 - and oh, I was asked to remove them from the folder. ;)

Ok here let me tell you what i did....i arranged mine according to dates so it does explained your meetings and genuine relationship at the same time. My fiance came three times here in the philippines so i just put all together what we both do in every visit. Pictures, bording passes, emails, chatlogs, receipt of delivery of the packages he sent me, remittances that explain that he supported all this time, proof that we rented a condo, certification that we bought a property, and all the things you have that can proved your relationship....I just had my interview last june 21 and now waiting for my visa to be delivered anytime this week....Godbless you and mylene....there's nothing to worry especially you have all the papers coz staff inside the embassy is nice and very accommodating.

I had my photos categorized (included in the file folders of other evidences & printed out in photo paper with captions --using MS Word, I didn't go for album-scrapbook types though I have all photo prints unmounted just in case asked but weren't anyway) as evidences prior to the filing of the 129F petition, evidences of a genuine engagement, and evidences of ongoing relationship.

Whatever way your fiancee feel more convenient for her. I wanted mine to be straightforward and plain, and easy to flip pages among the paper documents (the glossy photo paper is A4 legal size too). Well, it was a fun experience for me organizing. :P Have fun!
