Update! My SSN has come in! 3 days after my EAD/AP came in the mail.   And my Greencard Interview is on May 7th at 10am! Now I gotta start phone calls for my medical!

Also would like to point out that my case status on the tracker (using receipt number) did not get updated at all. Not sure if it’s supposed to, but nothing has changed since “case was received”. Was surprised to receive biometrics notice!

No update for me. Haven'ts received biometric appointment (Jacksonville ASC). Haven't received the I-944 related RFE either that I am expecting. 

 

I am a part of a Facebook AOS related group. Today itself I communicated with a couple of members there who are also AOS filers with Jacksonville as their ASC. They haven'ts received anything either. One of them is a May filer and the other person a June filer.

RoC Timeline:

  1. 12/04/2023 - Application sent to USCIS Elgin, IL lockbox
  2. 12/07/2023 - Application received by USCIS
  3. 12/12/2023 - Received "Your case received" text message from USCIS. Receiipt # starts with IOE
  4. 12/13/2023 - Check cashed by USCIS
  5. 12/19/2023 - Received in mail the I797 with the receipt number and the online access code
  6. 12/19/2023 - Received in mail the bio-metric re-use notification
  7. 12/21/2023 - Received in mail the I797 NoA extending my green card by 48 months

Federal court again rules against I-944! Might be good news for us who did not submit the I-944 and are waiting for an RFE.

Hi guys, I moved into the October group after getting rejection for use of an old form, but things are looking better here and I thought I would update you 

 

Shipped September 30th 2020 (tracking 9505515040400274722996)

Delivered October 2nd

Rejected October 26th

Resent October 27 

Delivered October 29

Checks cashed November 20

Got text notification Nov 29

Received NOA in the mail December 3

 

my priority date is oct 29

Under H1B valid until September 2022.

Marriage based AOS Timeline:

  1. 9/30/2020 - Application sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox using USPS
  2. 10/2/2020 - Application received by USCIS
  3. 10/26/2020 - Application rejected for outdated I-485 form
  4. 10/27/2020 - Application re-sent to USCIS lockbox using Fedex
  5. 11/19/2020 - Checks cashed (+ got my receipt numbers through online chat the following day)
  6. 11/29/2020 - Received 4 text messages from USCIS with the 4 receipt numbers.
  7. 12/03/2020 - Received 4 NOAs in the mail.
  8. 05/17/2021 - Biometrics appointment
  9. 05/20/2021 - "Case ready to be scheduled for an interview"
  10. 07/26/2021 - Case approved for my I-765 and I-131
  11. 09/01/2021 - Interview in San Antonio + "New Card Is Being Produced" status right away
  12. 09/02/2021 - "Case Is Approved"

I just spoke to a live representative via Emma, and was told that my biometrics appointment has been scheduled for 01/05/21 (Brooklyn ASC). Haven't received the letter in the mail yet, but I'm super excited that things are moving along!

09/25/20: AOS package (I-130/I-485/I-765/I-944) mailed out via USPS.

09/27/20: Package received by USPS.

10/24/20: Received NOA1 in the mail. PD is 09/28/20.

01/05/21: Biometrics appointment completed (Brooklyn ASC). Case updated to show fingerprints were taken (I-486 & I-765).

01/05/21: I-131 mailed via UPS.

01/17/21: Received IOE receipt number for I-131 via text.

01/25/21: Received a biometrics reuse notice for I-131.

02/02/21: I-485 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

02/04/21: Received I-693 deficiency notice in the mail (dated 01/29/21).

02/09/21: Advance Parole document was produced.

02/16/21: AP in hand.
02/26/21: New Card Is Being Produced (EAD).

03/04/21: EAD in hand.

09/01/21: EAD renewal paperwork received by USCIS. IOE receipt number.

09/07/21: Receipt / 180-day automatic extension received in the mail.

I just typed "representative" on the chat window, and it only took a minute or two to be put through.

I just tried too since we are all right around one another. The representative told me in order to provide specific information I have to call their contact center with the applicant present! 🤨 so guess I’ll try when my husband gets home from work, lol.

1/29/2021 - Online status changed to RFE (I-944 now irrelevant)

2/17/2021 - Biometrics & RFE received

3/2/2021 - Case ready to be scheduled for interview

5/27/2021 - Request I-765 expedite via Emma
6/1/2021 - Expedite request received

6/4/2021 - EAD card is being produced

6/8/2021 - Interview has been scheduled!

7/22/2021 - Interview - around 9:50pm that night, new card is being produced! 
7/23/2021 - Case is approved. 🥳

That's weird! Maybe it depends on the representative that you got? The one I spoke to asked me for my A number or receipt number (I gave them the A number), and then proceeded to confirm biographical info (full name, DOB, address) before letting me know about the appointment.
