MSC means it is National Benefits Center in Missouri. I am not exactly sure at what point the scanned copies of files are sent from there to the local field office which has jurisdiction over your address.

All my numbers are MSC too, and I fall under the Jacksonville USCIS field office.

Yeah, I did understand that, I just live in between 2 USCIS offices in my state. But I guess I can assume its the one with the shortest driving distance. Do they tell us eventually?

Look at this page.  At the very bottom there is a search box, that is the field office that you will fall under eventually. I do not know if we will get a notification of when the case id moved to that field office.

The interesting part to me is if you go to USCIS's case processing timeline page, for 1-131 and I-765, NBC is an option. For I-485, NBC is not an option but you can select your field office. But for I-130, neither is NBC an option, nor is there an option to select your field office. So I also wonder which office works on what file and when.

RoC Timeline:

  1. 12/04/2023 - Application sent to USCIS Elgin, IL lockbox
  2. 12/07/2023 - Application received by USCIS
  3. 12/12/2023 - Received "Your case received" text message from USCIS. Receiipt # starts with IOE
  4. 12/13/2023 - Check cashed by USCIS
  5. 12/19/2023 - Received in mail the I797 with the receipt number and the online access code
  6. 12/19/2023 - Received in mail the bio-metric re-use notification
  7. 12/21/2023 - Received in mail the I797 NoA extending my green card by 48 months

Our package was delivered on Sep 29th. You should receive NOA1 earlier than us. Hope the confirmation from USCIS arrives soon.

Yep, the wait begins now. Since you did not file the I-944, I suggest you start working on that. If you haven't already collected all the supporting documents, that might take some time. I started working on mine. I do not know if/when I will receive my I-944 RFE, and how long I will have to respond. So I am trying to be ready. Following are the documents that I am collecting.

  1. US federal tax transcript for the past three years: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript. If both the spouses work in USA, then this is needed for both. This takes time and many people face issues with this. So this needs to be addresses well ahead of time.
  2. Questions 9 & 10 on page 6 with the information for both of is for any assets that can be converted into cash within 12 months.  The form also requires us to provide evidence of the value of assets listed, including the name of the asset holder, a description of the asset, proof of ownership, and the basis for the owner’s claim of its net cash value.  On pages 6-7 of the form they specify the kind of evidence that can be presented, e.g. recent statement for retirement account, investment account, or 12 months of statements for any checking/savings accounts containing at least several thousand dollars.
  3. Past 12 months of statements for all individual or joint bank accounts listed on the I-944.
  4. A credit report from Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion for each of us.  Any one of these reporting companies is acceptable, and you can each download a free credit report per year from https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action. Needed for both if applicable.
  5. Evidence of your credit scores, showing both the score and name.  Experian offers an option to obtain your credit score for free at https://www.experian.com/consumer-products/credit-score.html. Needed for both if applicable.
  6. Copy of Form 1095-C Employer Provided Health Insurance Coverage for 2019.
  7. Printout of member benefits for health insurance plan, showing names of individuals covered under the plan, enrollment period, and plan details including annual deductible.  If spouse has a separate health insurance policy, then  provide similar evidence of coverage from that insurance company.
  8. Copy of the e-mail sent to me from my employer, confirming my plan benefits for 2020. (This was probably sent in 2019.)
  9. Copy of health insurance cards for both of is (front and back).
  10. Recent statements showing the current balance of any liabilities listed on the I-944 (e.g. recent mortgage statement, student loan statement, last credit card statement, etc.).

Yeah I started it. However, since I haven't lived in the US until now, I don't have US taxes, nor a credit score.

-Which I'ma just send my canadian ones since thats all I have, and prob a screenshot of the credit score company saying they cant find mine.

Isnt the I944 just about me, and not the US Citizen

So why would they want his bank statements, and asset lists --especially when all that was given in the the I864?

Il have to go through it and check for more thing really.

I think you have all that stuff because you were living in the US for awhile already. So someone like me doesn't have like any of that 😛
