So I haven't seen any movement on either my I-130 for my wife or my wife's I-485.  Now, however, when I log into either there is nothing there except for the listing of the case with received date and receipt number.  There used to be a tab for documents with some documents listed and other things including some things I uploaded myself.  Does everyone have similar?  Perhaps the database is having a moment?  Or perhaps this is a good sign?  That something is happening?  idk.

I have never had the document tab in my account. I filed everything together and all the documents in my application were paper-based.

RoC Timeline:

  1. 12/04/2023 - Application sent to USCIS Elgin, IL lockbox
  2. 12/07/2023 - Application received by USCIS
  3. 12/12/2023 - Received "Your case received" text message from USCIS. Receiipt # starts with IOE
  4. 12/13/2023 - Check cashed by USCIS
  5. 12/19/2023 - Received in mail the I797 with the receipt number and the online access code
  6. 12/19/2023 - Received in mail the bio-metric re-use notification
  7. 12/21/2023 - Received in mail the I797 NoA extending my green card by 48 months

I used to have 3 tabs.  Case, Status, and Documents (or something like that).  Most of the docs were scanned in from my paper files 485 including the 485 itself and the credit report from the 944.  I also had the option to upload some documents (which may or may not be looked at).  I had uploaded recent tax docs, etc.  That is also where I found the 693 courtesy letter which arrived a couple weeks later in regular mail.

It's back now.  When I log in to check the I-485 it looks like this:

I don't see a documents tab (and have never had one displayed before).  I have a feeling you are seeing those since you efiled I130.  Anyone who filed 100% paper based see the documents tab?

Perhaps.  I filed the I-485 months later referencing the I-130 receipt number and the I-485 PD is the same as the I-130.

Hey guys I went for the biometrics appointment today, it took around 45 mins. Not that much people but they were just kinda slow today.

When I checked in, a guy filled a paper titled "Contractor Form" and gave it to me so I would take it to another guy that took the fingerprints. I noticed something on this paper that got me intrigued. My I-485 receipt number was written down and on the bottom part there were boxes titled i485, i765, i131 and so on but only the i485 box was ticked...

Is this normal? Will the fingerprints taken today work for both the EAD and AP?

09/22/20: AOS package mailed  (I-130/I-485/I-765/I-944)

09/26/20: Package delivered

10/26/20: Checks cashed

10/27/20: Received texts with 4 receipt numbers

02/08/21: Received I-963 deficiency notice in the mail (dated 02/03/21)

02/26/21: Received Biometrics appointment letter for 03/17/2021 (dated 02/20/21)

03/17/21: Biometrics appointment completed

03/18/21: Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken (I-485)

03/19/21: Sent e-request for I-131 (Outside Normal Processing Time)

03/20/21: Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview (I-485)

03/22/21: Interview Scheduled

This happened to me too but it ended up applying my fingerprints to all forms.
