EAD approved Feb 19 😁

Congrats! I'm so glad to hear that more September filers are getting EADs approved.

In this forum and in a FB group I'm a part of, a number of people with September 21st PDs shared that they got their EADs approved today, so I'm hoping that means USCIS is making their way through later September filers. 🤞

Yeah someone is finally looking at our case.  I popped into the I-485 status page and while the status hasn't changed, there's a letter dated 19Feb, that says they looked at the docs and there is a I-693 deficiency.  It says not to send it but bring it to the interview unless an interview isn't required in which case they'll send an RFE.  It's already done so maybe we get a biometrics notice soon?  Hope, hope.

I had the same January 22! Still no biometrics but remain hopeful that something will come soon. Will update if that happens.

Here is the screenshot of the latest spreadsheet. Let me know if I have made any data entry errors. Also, thank you everyone for updating your timelines. It helps us all to know how the cases are progressing.

I don't think this is accurate, if I am not mistaken the 60 day validity only applies if you get your medical done before you submit your AOS application.  If you get it done anytime after your AOS application is submitted it is valid for 2 years from that date.  So unless you have a reason to believe that your interview won't be within the next 2 years I see no harm in getting the I-693 done now at a leisurely pace rather than trying to rush it once the interview is scheduled.  My 2 cents based on my understanding, please verify it by yourself before taking any action. (We submitted my mom's I-693 with the initial packet along with all the forms)

@neo_ny I was looking more about this issue. Here is an article from an immigration attorney office that I have followed for many years. Generally, they give good advice in their newsletters. My interpretation from this article (and I could be wrong) is that any time someone submits an I-693 to USCIS, be it with their initial filing, or be it when they are at the USCIS office for the interview, the I-693 cannot be older than 60 days.

Website 1. There are 3 tabs, case status,   history, and I think documents. I hadn't seen the "courtesy letter" before so I opened it and that was it. I expect it will arrive in the in a few days.

Also I want to say thanks for keeping up the spreadsheet.  This is very helpful.

It's at least a warm fuzzy for me in that it means someone has at least looked at the package and there weren't any major problems other than the missing I-693 which I knew.

That article says that was the new rule 1 Nov 18. I suspect a change has been made to correct that. At least the way I read it, the I-693 will expire if you haven't sent the I-485 within 60days. I could be wrong and our I-693 will get rejected at the interview but if so it will be easy to reaccomplish.
