Hi - I have read the older threads.... I was more referring to anything new since the re-opening of the consulate (I recall reading someone had to reschedule because of a form issue as Casa wanted the expired form)

I was just wondering if there was anything else since the re-opening that was quirky like this.

Also, my husband did not receive packet #3 -- we received the information via email (so the consulate did not mail the forms -- they sent us a link to the forms) Of course the link directs us to the new form (Im talking about DS156) and this is what we have completed.

Does anyone have an electronic version of the old DS156? I dont want to have the same problem as the other couple did and I can not for the life of me find the old form online.

Thanks,

Malarie

:help:

I will pray for you and wish you alot of luck

Thank you Dimples!!

other than the ds156 problem we had, i'm not aware of any other problems. patiently waiting would be best to describe that though! your fiance didn't receive the old version either? hmmm... well maybe they can provide him a new one at the interview? ugh good luck! :(

When he interviewed, there was nothing new. He took the forms that were given to him and the new one's I had him download. We didn't want there to be any reason for a denial. Only thing different that comes to mind would be that they have to check in across the street at the little guarg place and then wait in that line across the street until they are called. It does seem that some of their procedures are changing, but to date I am not aware of anything. I will post if I find out something different. Good luck at the interview!!!

If I were you I would fill out both the new and old DS forms. NO use in causing a delay when you can just fill both out before hand just in case.
