It seems that the US embassy is still not re-open yet, I am not sure how it goes, but even if you try to expedite the case, i think you won't hear anything soon from the NVC as they can't arrange the date with the embassy for your interview. Even though the embassy is open, they have backlog with other cases which means you might still need to wait your turn. But if you still want to try to expedite, you can try to call NVC or email them nvcexpedite@state.gov

I miss my 2nd anniversary too, but in that way my visa application is changed to IR1 visa instead of CR1 visa. Hopefully the embassy there will re-open soon, good luck :)

Yeah, but it depends if the embassy are open or not, or if they accept for the emergency appointment only.

I didn't expedite my case. The embassy here is re-open from end of July and some people who stuck since March got their interviews first.

I know it sucks, but if the embassy still not continue their visa service, you still need to wait till your turn comes. But if you want to try to expedite your case you can try, hopefully they will approve it :)

If you have a valid reason you can try to send expedite at NVC. I tried before but was denied by the embassy and I didnt hear from other groups of being expedited in Riyadh Embassy.

What reason you have used for your expedite request?

my employment contract will expire next month and not sure if the company will renew it so i might send back to my home country (PH) if not renewed but it was denied. so still needs to wait. good thing my contract was extended so its oki if it was not expedited.
