I has sent a picture album. I was told it is in a wrong format as for the reason it was returned. We made it like a picture book.

I will call tomorrow, but I am feeling anxious. I've never heard of it needing to be in a certain format.

Anyone have any idea what format is it supposed to be?

Current Timeline:

08/26/2020 - Mailed via USPS the form i-751 to Az address

08/28/2020 - Delivered to USCIS

09/02/2020 - Photo Album was rejected and returned.

09/12/2020 - CC payment taken.

09/13/2020 - Received text msg with the Receipt #

09/25/2020 - Received i-751 NOA

There is a USCIS page on what to include and not to do.  Anything bound or stapled can be returned or even destroyed.   it is up to the lockbox.

Consider yourself lucky they didn't return everything.

All of my photos were digital, so I put them in a word document, 4-5 pictures on a page. I typed labels in the document showing the date, place, and people in the photo. I printed it on white paper using colored ink. The final document had 4 pages and about 18 pictures.

I've read that some people send in actual photos. They put labels on the back of each photo and put them all in a zip-lock bag.

USCIS scans photos into their system, think copy machine like device. Copy your photos on to a 8.5 by 11 inch page have like four photos per page. You can make notations in area above and below indicating where, when and who is in picture.

USCIS will not use a photo album if it need to be taken apart to scan pictures into it.

If you make photocopy of each page of your album and submit each page looseleaf one sided that will likely work.

I've been on a lock box processing tour.

If you want everything to be processed fast then sent them one stack of  8.5 x 11 paper with nothing other than a binder clip / paper clip.   Everything gets encoded and scanned.  Items that need to be "touched" get put off to the side and handled separately.

How do I re-submit these pictures, by that I mean that they did not supply me any reference number or NOA or any direction on how to direct my photos to the rest of my paperwork. Perhaps I need to wait for NOA? They still have not taken the money. I feel its better if they just return the whole thing, because I am confuse.

If i were you, i won't resend these photos. Base on your timeline i think you never have any interview in US so you will get an interview. Then you can show them your photos, that will be ok for you.

They will cash your money if they accept it. So wait and see.

I just edited my reply. You might get an interview because you never have any interview in US, so you can show them the photos in an interview.

If there is a ROC interview, based on still being married, then both spouses have to attend.

They always require at least one interview in US. i don't think they will skip it for you and your wife.
