If your waiting to interview in Bogota I just got this from the Embassy when I inquired about when they thought they might start K-1 interviews again:

"Thank you for contacting the Immigrant Visa Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Bogota.

In the light of COVID-19 pandemic, the safety of applicants and Embassy employees is our top priority at this time. There are currently no routine U.S. visa services and the easing or ending of the quarantine in Colombia will not mean an immediate resumption in our operations.

As soon as we are able announce the  resumption of visa services, will be announced via our website https://co.usembassy.gov/ and social media.  Please follow these communication outlets for regular updates regarding our operating status.

We suggest you to keep attentive to the information posted on the official web site of the U.S. Embassy in Colombia https://co.usembassy.gov/es/embassy-es/bogota-es/

Please note that all immigrant visa appointments have been canceled and it is not possible to make an appointment until further notice"

Standard #######.  But, cases trending down daily, and international flights begin on September 19th.  So maybe some good news late next week?

True, Altho as of today the NVC is still holding my paperwork and not sent to the embassy....:(

Even after they resume operations, they will give priority for spouses. None of the open embassies are doing K1s.

Thanks, I appreciate it. The Petition’s will be renewed? I believe they have a time limit.

I think at this point, we'd all take a November/December appointment!  That would be considered good news with how slow they're deciding to reopen as Colombia begins every single step of reopening as a country.

The NOA2 for my petition for my fiance was 5/12, hopefully Bogota will resume K1 interviews soon. I’ll be following this thread.

Do K'1 go through the NVC process after the NOA2?  Or is it right to an interview after NOA2?

CR1 have to submit all the documents into another portal, so even though my NOA2 was in April, I wasn't put into the interview line until late May after they accepted them all.

The approved petition is still at the NVC, I have a case number. The NVC will start sending cases to Bogota when the embassy will resume interviews. The lease on our apartment here in Colombia is up at the end of January, so I hope my fiance will have the visa then.
