I have IR-1 petition filed. Today I found out that on my Form 864 under Part 3 - Other information, I typed USA city & State. But country is where I was born. I am not US citizen by birth. I know embassy allows ppl to make changes on their form at the interview. I also know that those ppl have received 221g for making changes. I believe this is an type error. If it was an visa application form then it would be good to change, but I think its an information document and/or supporting docs to visa applicant it make not be require to change

I would do a corrected I864 and have it ready for your spouse when the interview comes around.  It may not be an issue, but just in case you would be ready.

don't they make those changes in computer at the embassy? Now that I think again, 864 wasn't filed in online form, it was paper form.  Only form filed online was DS260 so it would make sense make changes in computer.  They already DQ us so I don't feel comfortable making changes. I will take the latest form, incase they ask
