K1 interview rescheduled - has anyone heard back yet?

Hi everyone,

 

Hoping to make a new thread for people who had K1 interviews cancelled in March/April. Mine was supposed to be April 8th, waiting to hear about rescheduled date.

April here as well. I am curious to hear from anyone that had theirs in March. Maybe silence is golden as they are preparing?

 

I am not expecting anything for us April folks till next month.

I heard they have just finished rescheduling CR/IR interviews today so hopefully K1s are up next!

Yours would probably be the first to be rescheduled. It appears that they finished the spousal cancelled rescheduling of interviews last Friday. We have not seen anything for any new interviews this week so maybe they will move on to k-1 now.

Following. My fiance's interview was April 1st. Haven't heard anything yet.

I wonder with them starting up interviews again and issuing visas if the rules will still be the same and can only fly in. It is really going to stink having to leave all personal belongings behind and flying longer than the 100 miles it would take him to cross the border by land and be at my house from Windsor to Ohio

I've been assuming that with the visa they would let us across. I think Canada has been letting Americans with visas through. I'm pregnant so flying isn't an option for me after Nov, which it seems unlikely I would get the visa and be able to move before then. Hopefully they're reasonable about that

mine as the 23rd, havent heard back but I only actually saw the news about them resuming just now, that's so exciting!!! should we expect an email from them or anything like that for when we'll be able to reschedule? does anyone know?

The lawsuit for K-1 was filed today, so I wonder if that's why they updated the wording on the website without changing the date of the update?

oh they changed the wording? from what to what?

It went from saying that they were only processing CR1 to now we are also processing "fiance (K) visas, and other mission critical categories such as medical professional". They changed the date today, I think the website must be really slow to update or something
