Dinesh D'Souza says recent riots and political unrest could lead to 'rise of citizen militias around the country'

I started to append this to the mega riots thread, but felt it deserves its own thread.

“The problem is that you respond [to rioting] through the lawful authorities, which is through the police; if things escalate beyond a certain point then you call in federal assistance. If things escalate beyond that point you call in the military,” he told Fox News during a phone interview. “Local governments and state governors are calling down the cops and licensing their own private gangs. If the cops won’t protect us, then you’re going to see the rise of citizen militias around the country.”

“I’m not advocating this,” he added. “I’m predicting it. It is a natural and inevitable response to the militarization of one side.”

Absolutely.  But the damn boolits have been hard to acquire for months now!!

Crazy right now.  Can't find 9 mm for less than about $.55 a round when you can get it.  Thank goodness I have a stock of several thousand rounds😁.

 

Is this the future?  Will this be the way the left will "control" our guns?

If Biden wins and he puts in TBone's favorite Texas politician as teh gun Czar, they may have other ideas.

300 blk subsonic is ridiculous.  $1.15 to nearly $4 a round.  I bought 200 last month (limited) for around 89 cents per.  I just can't bring myself to spend double the reasonable price, at least not until I know it's the new normal.

 

Just bought dies, plate, and powder funnel to start reloading my own.  But even bullets are hard to come by.  Ridiculous.

 

A friend told me yesterday he found 5.56 @ $530 for 1,000.  Told him to JUMP on it.  Too bad I don't own a 5.56.
