Interview canceled but wasn’t scheduled

Hi everyone,

We filed for AOS from K1 in late August 2019. We had an RFE for my financial records and everything was changed to “ready to be scheduled for interview” in May. We never had an interview scheduled but just got an update that our interview was canceled. Have other couples had this lead to a green card without an interview? Or is this more likely that they sent this “cancelation” update and we’ll have to keep waiting and hopefully get an interview scheduled in the near future...? We’re in NYC so the wait times are over a year here.

Thanks for any insight!

Two people in the January group reported the same last week. Seems more like a glitch in the system so far

Did you change your address? That's a common status update after filling out the change of address form online.

Ahhh yes we did update our address. Well that probably means no valuable movement on our case. At least we have an idea! Thanks!
