Hi there dear friends - sent an email to my congresswoman yesterday and still have not heard back. Did it via her website. There was no chance to attach my immigration documents. Do you recall how long it took for you to hear back and what documents did you share (360 and 485)?

You just have to explain the immigration officer that you made a mistake when you filed your forms. After he asks you to swear them ask permission to say something and mention your mistake .

I have a question what happen if at the interview this mistake is not clear or you said that  you didn’t work illegally and later on they found that you worked illegally what will be the consequences for that feeling scared

Obviously it's best to disclose everything..than find out the consequences! Yes unauthorized work is forgiven..it just tells them you're honest but if you try to be sleek..you just never know..honesty is always the best policy!😊👍

Wow thank you for sharing and congrats again!

what other documents did you take with yourself and why did officer take your divorce decree? I am asking as my divorce decree looks messed up given I had to pay my ex spouse for his attorney fees and also we had prenup. I just wanted to have this all finished with divorce as he was torturing me.

Call them, I only e-mailed initially and never heard back. Also, it’s election time, they will be very busy, easy to let an e-mail sit in inbox

Hello,

could anyone advice please?

My college's International students office is asking for any proof of my status, so they can stop thinking that I am still a F1 student. Currently, I do not have anything but my EAD c31 on me. My i360 was approved in August 2020, but I still didn't get the approval notice (because of the USCIS not updating the new mailing address for my Attorney's office).

My attorney claims that. they have submitted the request to redeliver my notice on August 26th 2020, but still there is no response, and no notice.

Please, Sandra, or any knowing people from this forum,

advice, what can be done and what I can submit to the international student's office in order for them not to report me out of status to the USCIS. And does it even matter at all, if they report me?

Oh okay just.. take all the documents showing the prenup and Divorce with you also I took with me (originals). Officer took the divorce decree to update my file.

all passports

, birth certificate,

I-94, proof of Income and tax returns do I-864w ( just to be safe)

Medical examination

Driver license

All EAD cards

divorce Decree

abstract of marriage, certificate of mariage

bills, pictures and bank statements.

As a reminder officer only asked me my spouse name. But nothing about my past marriage or abuse.

but interview was very tricky specially about yes or no question. Please review the I-485 that you sent read and remember what you said.

something I remember also is traffic ticket take with you any court related traffic ticket. The officer took it and asked me if there was anybody injured in the accident I was into, thanks God the response was no.

from that point I knew USCIS knows every little thing about us

not to mean to double question here but @sandranj and @Stillwinning!!!😊 _ would the list above be exhaustive and what is needed for the interview?
