I can PM you a link that has a sample affidavit if you need it. We dont post sample affidavits here because its VERY important that your affidavit is written in your own words and is not a cut and paste of a sample with just the names and dates changed. So I can PM you a sample but only use it as a reference!!

Thank you so much ...I will be waiting for the sample ,my head is full..all the things I even wrote on my laptop got missing ..have to start all over again !! I dnt know why my laptop is not saving in the world pad...but I will not give up ..life is survival of the fittest ..gats keep pushing hard !! Please send me the sample of affidavit and let me see ,it might be useful to me !!

Not sure if you need all of those when you're basically going there to inform the officer that you filed vawa, present the i360 NOA and prima facie if you have...then ask him to hold the i485 pending when i360 is adjudicated.💁

Hello, please someone who can help me understand this: Since the USCIS page still does not update my case (I-485 through an approved vawa) I decided to call this number (800-375-5283) that I found in  Internet where they supposedly provide information about Stratus of cases but they informed me that they cannot give me information about my case, that if I want to know that I write to the postal address: vawa unit, 75 lower welden street, saint albans vermont 05479. I am worried  Because they didn't want to give me information, I'm afraid to think that the reason they didn't give me information is because I was denied I-485.  I understand that USCIS only does not provide information for Vawa cases (I-360) but for the rest of the applications they do provide information and that is why I am concerned. :(

Once you filed for VAWA all cases under your A number will be protected and they will not tell you anything over the phone.

You're trying to adjust status as a self petitioner so yeah everything you file is protected..they're not going to disclose anything to you. If you need any information you can get help from your congressperson!👍

So the fact that they did not want to give me information does not mean that my case has been denied?  thank you very much for your help!!  it's been several days since USCIS has not updated the I-485 Status on the USCIS page and I want to know the result. :(

If they're not giving you any info..it obviously means your case is protected like I explained. If your case is denied they will let you know..get your mind off that lane..your i485 is linked to your i360 it's private information now.👍

Don’t worry your case is still pending. Did you ask for you I-485 to be held in abeyance ?

i have been through this before and that 800 number is not for VAWA cases. Your lawyer and a Congressman are allowed to access the case. I’d say follow up with your lawyer first and see what they said.

I’m preparing for my AOS interview as I mentioned a couple days ago...

I’m going over my I485 that I submitted with my I360 and I just noticed I answered one of the yes or no questions in my I485 wrong :( I’m a little freaking out.

PART 8 - Question 16 - “Have you ever worked in the U.S. without authorization?” I answered NO but I did work without authorization.

PART 8 - Question 17 - ”Have you ever violated the terms and conditions of your nonimmigrant status?” I answered YES to this regarding my working without authorization.

Can someone please tell me if I can clarify this with the officer during my interview? I can’t believe I put this wrong :( my interview is on the 22nd of October.

Yeah, you can correct it during the interview.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

I hope so :( I don’t know how I made this mistake. Have you heard anybody correcting something like that during the interview? I hope they won’t treat it like false statement :(

Yeah I have heard of this very thing. Just explain what happened, you were going through the zillion yes/no questions they ask, ticked the wrong box, looked at the copy you have later, and realized that "Oh, this should be yes instead, whoops".

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.
