Good evening everyone. Pls I need your advice,  I have a joint account with my abuser, I was the only one using  this account because he never deposited $1 into the account till today. I tried to open my own account but I was requested for state ID which i didn't have.  I decided to continue using the account for uber majorly, this evening i realised someone withdrew $100 from ATM , I thought it was a fraudster I called the Bank I was told he is the one ( EX) now I un bbn locked him and sent him message to refund my money but he didn't reply. Am thinking of reporting him to the corps but I need your advice. Thank you

If it is a joint bank account, he can withdraw funds and it is legal.

@Stillwinning!!!😊 hi dear, im a bit lost, maybe you can help me the fee for renewal EAD C31 is $410 or $495, also will be send to Vermont right?.. Thanks in advance

If they have effected the new fees, then you're looking at $550 otherwise it's $410! Read some days back that EAD fees for DACA is $410 then non DACA is $550..according to the proposed fee hikes! Destination is always Vermont don't forget that!👍

I'm sorry you had to learn the hard way..what were you thinking? Do not fund this account! $0.00 is fine going forward! Look what it cost you..if you continue to make funds available he will continue the withdrawals! And he'll not be found guilty! Switch it ASAP!👍

Hi everyone I recently got my vawa approved but I’m in removal proceedings . I know I adjust in front a judge but is it going to be at the first court date to let them know I’m approved ( been there about twice for master hearing ) or are they gonna schedule me for an individual hearing for the adjusting of status . What should I expect and will he be asking about vawa or just green card questions

Congratulations 👏. I'm also in removal proceedings , filed October 2019 and Still waiting. Can you share your timeline? According this forum, you must now terminate your proceedings  now and file your i485 with USCIS

Hello everyone! So I have been pondering heavily lately on filing the divorce because I want to get it over with. I want to move on. I was doing a lot of research about filing a divorce by publication for the mere reason that I really don't want to have a contact with my ex anymore. To him or anyone in his circle. Also I don't know where exactly he is now. But I found out that in order to do the publication I have to prove to the court that I have a made every effort to find him (which I don't want to do). Has anyone done the divorce by publication? Finding him just to file a divorce is giving me anxiety to the roof. I really don't want to have anything to do with him anymore.

Suggestions please.

Hi, i was also in removal proceeding when my VAWA was approved. If you have a lawyer they should file for a motion to terminate your court hearing. You don't have to wait until the next court hearing. However, the ICE attorney must agree to terminate your case at the court as well before the judge will grant you that. In my case the ICE attorney and the judge both agreed to cancel the hearing. Once my removal proceedings had been cancelled i filed for the I-485 with the USCIS back in April 2020. Hope this help! 😊
