I did study in England(Oxford

Holy mackerel, lady!

This is amazing, impressive,* and commendable.

*note use of the serial or "Oxford" comma

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I have read of 2019 approvals here. You should have a pending i485 and not be in removal proceedings or filed for asylum to be safe to travel. Lastly this is my personal opinion..I will wait for i360 approval before making any move. Like I said this is just me..otherwise people travel all the time with their pending i485 and i360 and return just fine..the caution is that you must not be in removal proceedings or an asylum filer..if traveling to your home country or the destination you're supposed to be running from! Establish that you have a pending i485..if that's what your attorney is working on..then let it happen first.👍

Thank you dear, I am not in any removal proceeding and never find asylum, it was a marriage based case, which the marraige didn’t work and after the interview notice, lawyer notified the Uscis about devorce and then filed for Vawa.

Great! In this case all that was needed on your part was to inform uscis about the i360 petition and advice them to hold it pending when your i360 is adjudicated..this is what links the i485 to the i360 petition..if things are getting tricky with the motion to reopen..there's always the good old option of filing a fresh i485.💁

The medical exam is valid for 2 years since 2018, but you have no more than 60 days from the date the civil surgeon signs the medical exam to submit to  USCIS.

Thank you @sandranj you are amazing with all the knowledge that you have, i have ben left with the impression that you have more time, i guess that i will wait until i get an update from UCIS regarding my case and i will go from there.

Thank you

Additionally to Sandra's response - doesn't hurt to do it now and hold on to in in case you get NOI soon, but I've never heard of insurances covering that exam. My doctor told me insurance won't cover it even partially.

Thank you @Engineering-rocks and do you mean NOID

Great plan there..but because this document is time sensitive it might not be such a great idea after all! I believe you can still get it done..just explain the situation to them..they might offer you what I was offered...that if the validity lapsed, they can re-issue for a very small fee! If they don't offer it to you voluntarily..ask if they can do it for you anyways..you'll save money this way than having to pay for a fresh test!💁👍😊

Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊 probably i will just wait for the letter from USCIS, hope i get an update soon.

Than you :)

Did you get the NOA for the 360 in addition to the C31 EAD? Its very odd to get an RFE after approval. Just FYI the online system is a courtesy system and is not always accurate. Often people get odd status updates on it due to computer glitches.  Keep an eye on your mail - sign up for informed delivery from the post office if you arent signed up for it yet. The post office will email you daily with what they are going to be putting in your mailbox. If you dont get any RFE by the date shown you can try using the e-request link they show you but I am not sure if you would be able to due to VAWA being confidential and everything needing to be on paper through VSC. So I would suggest if you dont get any RFE by that date to use your congressman to inquire about it. They can obtain the RFE if there is one or confirm that the status update was an error.

@Villanelle no I didn't get the nod for 360

Just get approved for 765 c31 July 22

And yesterday RFE FOR 360

Hi all, after asking help from Congressman, I've reached out to the Senator(Kirsten Gillibrand) this time for my long waiting interview but received the same response from USCIS as I did through the Congressman.

Here's the copy of the response;

"Please be advised that USCIS records indicate that the application in question requires an interview. Due to the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 situation, we are unable to provide you with a precise appointment date and time. Once a date becomes available, you will be scheduled and notified accordingly."

As of today, it has been 21 months since my I-360 was approved(3rd of Jan 19). It's at least 5 months out of the poroccesing time. Don't know what else to do but wait. :(

Wish luck to everyone here on this long journey.

A new I485 was filed actually in November 2020, along with combo card, which I received this June 2020, now new i485 just show's finger prints updated as of January 29,2020 . The interview never happened, they sent a interview notice, a week later they postponed it and sent letter for finger prints to be taken from my ex-wife, and they send few later to my ex, by then I had already moved out, she never went or responded to the letter, hence there was never an interview.

I believe the new i485 is linked to your i360..so what was that about your attorney filing motion to reopen the previous i485?

My insurance covered it, but I had to pay for it up front, and when my insurance company paid the MD, then they reimbursed me my money.
