@sandranj I’m sorry for bothering you but can you please advice. Can I do my medical exam now since I’m out of a job and I want to take advantage of my health insurance before they take it away. My VAWA was approved in September of 2019? Still waiting on my interview but I want to try and save some money.

 Thank you.

Additionally to Sandra's response - doesn't hurt to do it now and hold on to in in case you get NOI soon, but I've never heard of insurances covering that exam. My doctor told me insurance won't cover it even partially.

Hey everyone 👋 I’m working on my interview and just got my immigration medical exam from the doctor’s office.

My first question is...in the interview letter they ask for “a completed medical  examination (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted).”

I had a chance to check the report before the doctor signed and sealed. They gave me a copy too. But they only gave me I-693 and the vaccination info is on page 12 of form I-693. What does USCIS exactly mean with “vaccination supplement”? Is it a separate document from the form I-693?

Second question... I just noticed the woman at the doctor’s office who prepared my documents did one misspell. The form asks for ID type they used to identify me and she put “California Dirver” instead of “California Driver”. Do you guys think this could be a problem? Should I ask them to reprint it?

1.Everything USCIS needs is in the sealed I 693. You don't need a separate document.

2. They will not deny you because some woman miss spelled the word driver. It's just a typo, no big deal. Relax.

That's a very minor typo..but I do understand what it does to your anxiety..so I'll say if it makes you feel better and it's still convenient to do, let them print it again..but quite frankly it will not affect you adversely!😊👍

 Thank you.

Great plan there..but because this document is time sensitive it might not be such a great idea after all! I believe you can still get it done..just explain the situation to them..they might offer you what I was offered...that if the validity lapsed, they can re-issue for a very small fee! If they don't offer it to you voluntarily..ask if they can do it for you anyways..you'll save money this way than having to pay for a fresh test!💁👍😊

Hey you :) thanks for understanding. I’ll call them tomorrow. I paid a ton of money for this exam and the least they can do is to  give me a typo-free document. I can’t wait this to be over. I should be fine unless some random officer decides to make my life harder 🙈

I’m trying to put my interview file together...Basically sitting in a paper pile at the moment 🤪 the part that’s kinda blurry for me is “all documentation  establishing your eligibility for Lawful Permanent Resident status”

What should I take to make sure about this? What else other then these below?

my birth certificate

approved vawa letter

my marriage certificate

my divorce decree

My ex husband’s birth certificate (citizen)

Good afternoon. Someone else can please answer this question. I would really appreciate it. @sandranj

I have a question. In a few days I have the interview for adjustment of status (I-485) after an approved Vawa. I don't have all the passports, only the last two. And according to I-94 I also have only the last one. Will there be any inconvenience if I go to the interview without having all the passports and I-94?

Thank you very much for your prompt response.

I'm not sure if I've answered this question before..matter of fact I think I have...so again..coming from someone who already had their interview..chilax..you'll be alright..they wouldn't ask you for all that..at best just the recent one(s) you currently have! I don't remember the officer asking for my passport..it was expired at the time of my interview! I had a previous passport with me also just incase they ask..but they didn't! Just go with what you have..don't worry too much..it does no good!😊👍

Smiles..I can relate..I couldn't sleep on the eve of my interview..just checking my docs..rechecking and praying🙏..worked out okay! Most of the interview notices are generic so don't worry too much..most of the requirements don't apply to vawa petitioners! Add your recent 3yr tax reports, i.d, passport(s) and all other important docs you have in your possesion to the list just incase!👌👍

1- 8/9 months.

2-Many people travelled and returned with our problem. DO NOT TRAVEL IF YOU FILED FOR ASYLUM or if you are in removal proceedings. You have to check the restrictions regarding the COVID 19.

3-Do not travel if you are 6/7 months  pregnant.

4- USCIS takes 20/60 days to issue the Prima facie.

Hi everyone, and @ sandranj. Can someone on removal proceedings travel after VAWA approval? with pending removal proceedings? Thanks

Hello VJ Family, it's nice to see many approvals in last thread, I am May 20, 2019 filer, and then filed ead and combo card in November, 2019, finally received combo in June 2020, and also prima facia extension in May 2020 for 6 months, which expires on 26 December 2020,

I-45 receipt show's that fingered prints have been applied to my case since 29 January 2020 and I'1360 SHOW Case was received May 20 2019,

I just have few question,

1- have there been recent approvals of cases filed in 2019?

2- Can I travel to Pakistan on Combo Card in January 2021, without any trouble, knowing that my lawyer filed motion to reopen for my case with my ex.?

OR will there be any issue coming back?

3- should I wait for my Vawa approval ?

Hopefully everyone's case gets approved soon. InShaAllah.

any advice will be much appreciated.

@Stillwinning!!!😊
