If you get married before VAWA approved, then you will have to start the immigration process over again with a I-130 and I-485, as your VAWA petition will be voided.  FYI, they can revoke your VAWA approval, when they find out you were married.

Hello everyone, I’m new here.
I filed I360, I765 and I131 on July 22, 2020. My I485 was already pending since July 2019 based on I130. The case status was: ready to be scheduled for an interview, so it was already in a local office.

I also filed i765 and i131 along with i485 back in 2019, but it had been more than a year, and they never got approved. I don’t know why. 
After I filed VAWA I received NOA that they received my i360, new I765 and new i131, then a few days ago I got notices for I485, old I765 and old I131 that they were successfully transferred to VAWA department. 
 

Basically, I have two I765 pending (both C09 category) and two I131 pending at VSC. My story even more complicated haha. I have EAD card from my F1 student status that is valid until spring 2021. I’m still maintaining my student status.
 

My questions are:

 

1) How long did you guys wait for your i765 (C09) and i131 approvals through VAWA? 
2) Is it safe to travel with i131? It has been almost 4 years since I was in my home country.

3) Is it smart to travel while pregnant? Or would you wait until baby is born? 
4) How long did you wait for VAWA prima facie? And what this document for?

1) The i765 and I-131(C09) under i485 with a pending i360 takes anywhere from 4-7months..

2) It is safe to travel with a valid AP if you're not in removal proceedings..or an asylum filer.

3) If you're not too far gone and feeling A-okay why not? Go for it!

4)During my time..the period I filed (2017)..I got my NOA and Prima facie within two weeks. But we have seen it currently takes up to 3-5weeks. Even later! This document helps you get certain benefits while your petition is pending!

Be patient..uscis sent you a prima facie because they haven't reached a conclusion on your case..they didn't forget about your case hence the prima facie! Also your congressperson is on it too..it may sound too cliche but you just gotta wait!💁

Hello VJ Family, it's nice to see many approvals in last thread, I am May 20, 2019 filer, and then filed ead and combo card in November, 2019, finally received combo in June 2020, and also prima facia extension in May 2020 for 6 months, which expires on 26 December 2020, 

I-45 receipt show's that fingered prints have been applied to my case since 29 January 2020 and I'1360 SHOW Case was received May 20 2019, 

I just have few question, 

1- have there been recent approvals of cases filed in 2019?

2- Can I travel to Pakistan on Combo Card in January 2021, without any trouble, knowing that my lawyer filed motion to reopen for my case with my ex.?

OR will there be any issue coming back?

3- should I wait for my Vawa approval ?

 

Hopefully everyone's case gets approved soon. InShaAllah.

any advice will be much appreciated.

Hi, it's always best to wait until you get it to know..as it can be anything..from proof of good moral character, shared residence, abuse, bonafide marriage to qualifying relationship! Let us know when you get it. Try to stay calm while you wait..we'll do it together!👍😊

With uscis anything is expected..just wondering what they want now..guess we wait to see. This is the first time I'm learning of rfe after c31 receipt. Usually the rfe's are for i485 after vawa approval! Share with us when you know. Praying with you dear.🙏💐🌻🌸🌼
