If you had a previous i485 then the date it was received is your priority date! But frankly priority dates don't do much..it all depends on the pace at your local office.💁

1st application sent over night they return asking to send again with the latest new form Versions.

2nd application with new form sent with a check for 410 for i765 and to my surprise they took it out from my account. 

 

I added a note application under pending i485 Category C09 and fees not required in C09 . but they still took the fees from my account.

 

Anytime you send a payment, they are going to cash it.

That is the date from your I-485 or your I-130 when it was filed.

No action on your part at this time. They will transfer your i485 to your local office where you wait for either an approval or an interview!👍

Guys, I am so concern about not approving my petition yet.

 

Aug 7 - New card is being produced

Aug 18- Card c31 delivered to me

 

And still no approval after month and half.

I read here everybody got approved after 1 month only since they got c31 card.

Why take so long?

New card being produced is definitely an approval..what you're waiting for is the notice..or update reiterating the approval. Most people get theirs 4-6weeks after card production! Relax you'll get it.👍

You'll get the approval anytime from now. Just saw my own approval notice a few days ago too.

I know I have to request a transfer of my i485 to my local NJ office, but the problem is I can't find my i485 receipt notice. 

My questions are as follows:

1. Can I request for a duplicate i485 receipt notice? If yes, how?

2. If no, what are my options?

3. How do I request for my existing i485 application to be linked to my i360 and transferred to my local NJ office? Just by sending a letter to Vermont office?

4. What documents do I need to send to USCIS now that my i360 has been approved, to proceed with my green card application?

Hey, don't stress too much. They sometimes take their sweet time to send you the approval letter. It took them 6 months to approve me after I got my EAD. I had to ask my senator's office to reach out and one month after that I got my approval letter.
