Someone will be along to help. :)   Posting is a little slower in this thread on the weekends.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Guys please I need your ideas any response will help

And can I lease a car and an apartment with Prima Facie

and can i go back to school with Prima Facie

please guys help

the processing time on EAD varies on the filling location you can check them on USCIS site. Current VSC EAD(C9) processing time is 4.5 months to 6.5 moths. My experience is it takes more than 4.5 months around 5 to 5.5 months which can be different for each case.

The Prima Facia questions, i am not sure what benefits you get with this mostly it allows you to get government provided services with out the public charge.

Hello fam,

I finally received a notification that my i360 was approved!!!!!!!!

I don't even know if what I'm feeling is relief or excitement. It has been such a long, frustrating wait and I owe my sanity to all of you on here. Thank you so much.

My timeline is as follows:

Nov 2017 - i130, i485, i765

Nov 2018 - i360

May 2020 - i360 RFE received

July 2020 - RFE sent

Aug 2020 - EAD produced

Sep 2020 - i360 approved

I know I have to request a transfer of my i485 to my local NJ office, but the problem is I can't find my i485 receipt notice.

My questions are as follows:

1. Can I request for a duplicate i485 receipt notice? If yes, how?

2. If no, what are my options?

3. How do I request for my existing i485 application to be linked to my i360 and transferred to my local NJ office? Just by sending a letter to Vermont office?

4. What documents do I need to send to USCIS now that my i360 has been approved, to proceed with my green card application?

Thank you for all your advice as always.

Congratulations dear.

Lot's of people have been able to go to school using FAFSA..they ask for prima facie! So about your case..I don't think infidelity is considered abuse in this petition...otherwise your physical abuse is evidence enough. The emotional/psychological and financial with proofs is absolutely helpful too..just that infidelity on it's own isn't of much help even with proof like you mentioned. The EAD estimate should be within the range of 4-7months... Yes your case is looking good..if they feel they need more evidence from you..they will send you a RFE. Mostly patience, prayers and support are all you need now. This is the ideal community!❤👍😊

Hey guys... I got an update on my I-360 receipt today. It says that " on September 25 we received correspondence from you....we are working on it and will reach out if anything else is needed...."

the thing is,  I did not send anything but a change of address AR-11 as I have moved about 2 months ago.  I have done the address change on I-485 in the past when I moved out of my ex's and my home but never got any update like this. Thoughts?

No need to fret..some people received this update myself included. This happened after my i360 approval while I was waiting for interview...I had changed my address and updated with VSC I think it has something to do with the update!💁

Well congratulations first of...happy for you. I believe you can request a copy of your i485 probably through FOIA..I've never had to do this..regarding how to link your i485 to your i360 petition, folks usually go see an officer and instruct them to hold the i485 pending when VAWA is approved..some people write..but if your i485 was filed with your i360 then you probably do not need to do anything as it will be transferred to your local office. Now that your i360 is approved..you do not need to send anything..they will let you know if they need anything. So did you file the i485 with the i360? Or are you referring to the initial i485 your abuser filed for you?💁

Thanks! I'm referring to the i485 I filed with my abuser. I already went in person to ask for my i485 to be held in abeyance during my initial interview that my abuser refused to attend. Since that has been done, is there anything else I need to do?

Well since you did that, then you probably do not need to do anything else!

No, you should be fine

the officer at the interview agreed to hold your I485 right?

Guys please I need your ideas any response will help

And can I lease a car and an apartment with Prima Facie

and can i go back to school with Prima Facie

please guys help

You can definitely go back to school with a Prima Facie

leasing a car: not sure, you would need a license first- not sure if you can do that before an SSN OR perhaps if you have a license from your home country, it may help depending on the state you are in

apartment: not sure but you can definitely find someone who rents out a room or apace in their house or something old fashioned way... not require Auchincloss but timely rent. Also, reach out to local Christian or other charities and domestic abuse shelters/hotline. There must be recourses to see you through
