I cannot thank you enough, if I when I came to U.S I worked under a different name and I put it down in the section where it asks for all names used, I put it in both 485 and 360 and now in 400, will they ask why did I use another name? And if so what Am I suppose to respond?

They may ask why you used a different name, and you  have to explain the reason for the name discrepancy.

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to file my petition this weekend. I went to my lawyers office yesterday to review the file and they completely messed it up. They included duplicate pages, outdated forms, even managed to mess up I-360!! They incorrectly filled it out and I had to catch so many errors. The lawyer doesn’t review the file, only the paralegal, who it terrible. All this time I only had 1 hour call with the lawyer and she doesn’t respond to my emails. They also included black and white pictures of my injured leg...which is the whole point to see colors of the bruises. They told me if I want colored I should print it out myself. My leg looks completely normal on the picture they printed out. I am going back to their office today to re-review the package. Do you recommend to get rid of G-28 form and just file on my own? What are the advantages/disadvantages of having a lawyer? Did anyone have a similar situation and what did you do?

If your case was filed with a lot of mistakes  then ask your attorney your the money back, and tell if he doesn't give your money back you will represent him to the Bar Association.I recommend you to submit a certified letter stating all his mistakes, and then  he will know you are not bluffing.

Is that just for mistakes or even when you catch them in a lie or when they on purposely delay or mishandled your case?

It was not yet filed but they made a lot of mistakes on the simplest of forms and filled out the additional wrong forms and really messed up the support documents: they put in an outdated i-94, duplicates for bank statements, made general order mistakes like mixed up cover letters from different therapists etc..

Also never reviewed any of the statements so I'm shooting in the dark.

Hello Vawa folkers

I am a vawa applicant and my work permit c09  and driver’s liceense will be expired after 90 days i will not be able to renew my work permit and i got my prima facie  , so there is any way to renew my drivers license without work permit ?!

It depends upon your state requirements.  Check your DMV, they have a list of items needed to renew your license.

Good evening everyone. My mom’s prima facie is expiring in 2 day and she uses it to get her license, so that is expiring too. Can someone send me a template of how to ask USCIS for an extension? We normally ask the lawyer to ask for an extension but we don’t have the money to pay this time. Thank you.

There is no template, you just write a letter and mail it to Vermont asking for extension.

Also, what are the repercussions of using a lawyer? Like are they the only ones who can receive documents now or what could be a problem?

I would pay for a consultation and ask them ALL the questions you have. Then evaluate if you can put together all the evidence you will need. Post more questions here. A lot of people in this blog are experts even more than attorneys. Then evaluate if you can do it yourself. It sometimes makes things EASIER.

Good morning VJ Family that may be a weird request but can someone assist me with writing  a letter in regards of my EAD Renewal I have 2-3 weeks until I’m out of a job because of the incompetence of my lawyer.

Thank you ❤️

I will be happy to help. DM me with what exactly you want to request and we will put a letter together. I would leave spaces in blank for you to fill it out with your personal info on your own to keep your info private to you and USCIS :)

Hey Gi Gi been a while...anyway you should send in the medicals then...why haven't you sent it in though?..they probably plan to approve you without an interview. Sure sounds and looks like it. Google your congressman..call or email..they will send you the privacy release form..fill it out and attach your i485 NOA..they will reach out to USCIS and bring you answers!😊👍

Because they said not to send it in until I get a letter to do so so it doesn’t get lost. What’s the noa

Hello family.

Been absent for a while now...

My abuser tried to contact me while a restraining order was active through one of the chatting apps (Viber). It was actually her cousin. I did not respond at all. I was like 6 months ago...

My therapist pointed me to call judge immediately and let him know that she violated restraining order even though it expired. I did not yet. I have a proof.

What to do?

I am a cosigner for a  car her and her cousin drive. It would be impossible for her to get it without me as a cosigner. Anyway - they are not paying it on time literally raping my credit etc etc. Car even got repoed 2 years ago  without me knowing what was going untill repo actually happened. Then I payed all of the missed payments plus repo fee but the same game continues. I know I can not set my self free from being a cosigner but can I use it as a proof of financial abuse and lies etc etc

Thanks

Copy that beautiful! NOA is the notice of action..AKA receipt notice! Ok then wait for instructions..usually they require you to bring it to the interview. Best of luck!😊👍

The car is considered marital debt and should be addressed in divorce proceedings. She will be required to pay for the car if she has possession and using it.
