Hello everyone, 

 

Is there any specific tip or recommendation to reply to RFE? 

 

Should I include the RFE notice itself in the response package?

Huh, thought they'd just deny it if you don't respond. Though I guess they might've assumed that the notice got lost and decided to try again once the case came up for review again. I had something similar happen with an I-601A that I abandoned, though that was for biometrics. Didn't go, got a second appointment a year later, didn't go, and they denied it.

I thought they would have denied it too because i had first applied back in 2014 and the paralegal who submitted the forms for me wanted me to get a restraining order and a police report saying my ex physically abused me which he did not so I did not answer the RFE back then either for good  faith marriage and they had denied the case saying eventhough he had a felony he did not do anything to me physically so in 2018 when I did not reply to the RFE I said that's it they gonna throw the book at me me this time, that's why I have to continue to give God praise.

You have to include the RFE notice on the top/front of the package.

 

One way to structure the package is:

1. RFE notice

2. Index of documentation

3. Cover letter (if you wrote one, it's generally recommended just to walk whoever is reviewing the case through the stuff you're submitting)

4. Exhibits (i.e. everything else you're including)

Hi sharshar did you send just the 410 alone ord you add the 85 with the biometrics 595 total?

It's just $410. Only the following categories have to pay the biometric fee:

• C8 - Pending asylum
• C33 - DACA
• C35 - Approved I-140, facing compelling circumstances
• C36 - Spouse/Child of C35
• C37 - Applicant for CNMI long term resident status

The categories you can get an EAD via VAWA under (C9, C14, C31) do not have to pay for biometrics.

I'm just wondering one thing, why are they making you pay the fee, did you get a fee waiver for I-485?

I pay the I 485 ,I 130 when my ex wife applies for me and they sent me the first work permit in 6 months but later when I switch to vawa whit the  i 360 and add the old I 485 to the new 360 they charged my with the fees the weird thing is they accept the i 131 but not the 765 and I sent the applications together I 131 and I 765

You're eligible for a free renewal apparently..but hey just pay to avoid delays and impending higher fees! My opinion..USCIS needs all the money they can get. Kind of unusual..but so many just paid and moved on.👍😊

Hey..USCIS is concerned about details..so do please furnish them with as much details as possible. They need closure that's the reason why they sent out the request in the first place..it is not an academic document..you will not be scored for it..so grammar or writing style etc is irrelevant. Straight to the point will get you approved faster! My tip!💁😊👍

You will neither have any problem nor will you get denied! If you had read earlier post it was discussed! I went to my interview with my expired passport and was approved! Of course you should go with your i.d and other important documents.😊👍
