Your interview letter is your passport to the interview! When your attorney got the call, why didn't he ask the officer about the interview letter? They check you in at federal plaza with your interview letter..don't know if there is a way around this.💁

I know right? My lawyer... I can not even describe my feelings about him. A couple of days ago I had a prep meeting for the interview with him and mentioned this issue and he said "oh io called me, no written notice, don't worry just go to your interview" Then I wasn't fully sure, I figured it out that I needed the letter after messaging someone from this forum! Now I let my attorney know, they reached out to the IO and waiting the officer to email the letter as they said. I can not believe this, even after I reminded him he said it's ok! Like I said before, I should've prepared my case by myself with your guidence guys, and wouldn't have been RFE'd possibly because they prepared my case so poorly,  and I could've saved time and tons of money this way. I am regretting to deal with them....And this is a reputable immigration lawyer, could you believe this?

Oh dear! What's done is done..just focus on the interview by God's grace an approval awaits you! Reputable doesn't always translate to knowledgeable! If I were to do this again, I would save myself thousands of dollars and tap from the wealth of knowledge and experience here! Sometimes I feel like going to get a refund..I even went to my interview alone! By the time my attorney was texting me not to check in until she arrives..I already got a card production update on my way out of federal plaza! SMH!😏

Honestly I can understand it happening pretty quickly for 3 reasons:

1. VAWA associated EADs (C09, C14, and C31) go directly to VSC and to the Humanitarian Team (VAWA, T, U). Don't know what their workload is, but it could be lower than most other teams considering the very limited subject matter jurisdiction and requirements for qualified staff to handle I-360, I-914, and I-918 applications.

2. C09 approval is just a rubber stamp. Do you have a I-485 pending? Yes. Do we have biometrics on file? Yes. Okay, approved.

3. It would make sense to prioritize the easiest cases to get them out of the queue.

Oh ok

Hi guys! I’m so frustrated 😠

USCIS again messed up with my notice and sent it somewhere else but not to me.

My VAWA was approved November 12. And today I got a notice that my approval notice was returned to USCIS because post office could not deliver it.

Second time! Even tho all addresses up to date and correct!

I called to USCIS today. Was transferred 4 times. They put me in a line. I was on the line for 2 hours in general and guess what? Their call just cut off.

I called them back but they told me that I’m still in a line and I will get a call. Well. They never called me back.

I submit online inquiry even tho I know they won’t give me any information.
So my options are: call to USCIS again and again and hope they will take my call. Sent and actual letter to USCIS by mail (I e tried it before and they have a huge issues with answer on those) and also I can ask my senator office about help again.

Why it’s so difficult???😡😡😡

Every single time some issues with delivering this notices.
Gosh. Seems like this stress will never have the end😭😭😭

I didn't do VAWA (just an I-129F), but this brings back vivid memories.

To this very day, when I'm on hold with a business whose "hold" music is the same as what USCIS had, I feel panic, my heart rate gets faster, and (probably) my blood pressure goes up.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone plans to have a safe, socially-distant holiday. Let’s give thanks for another day above ground to keep fighting. Take it from someone who was frantic at every step, it will be okay. The journey takes patience and resilience. When my I-360 was approved, I never received any information that my case was transferred except for my attorney receiving interview notice 3 weeks after approval. Try to be proactive, but stay busy to keep your mind off every step. The wait is daunting, but totally worth it in the end. I pray for lots of approvals by year end. There is light at the end of the tunnel for sure. Health and prosperity for everyone. Stay blessed you guys❤️.

Congrats and good luck with your interview, yes pray for usimage.png.c8145a75e7cb86446e1ac641f45dc57b.png

Thank you my dear. I actually have my green card now (recently approved). It’s still surreal, but I’m thankful every day.

Hello folks,

I just got my approval notice for I-360 after 3 months since I got C31 card.

Now I suppose to file I485.

My question is, 4 years ago I applied already I485 with my spouse in that time as regular wedding couple, and we waited for interview.

Never went to that interview since we were separated. So I applied after that I360.

Do I still have pending that I485 from couple of years ago,or should I apply new one now after  I360 has been approved.

Thank you

If they denied your I-485, then you need to file a new one
