Google your state, find who your senators are, find their senate page, look for a help or contact section. If you want I can find this info for you but I need to know which state you're in.

Honestly there's no harm in having them inquire on your behalf. Worst case scenario USCIS will just say "We're working on it, please get lost", you won't get denied in retaliation or anything of the sort, USCIS both gets thousands of these inquiries every week and they're held to a certain professional standard.

That's nice of you. I can find the Senator but I don't know what to write him/her regarding my case. Is there a template I can use?

There's no template you need to follow. Just explain your situation to the best of your ability, mainly how long you've been waiting and any compelling circumstances you might be facing. You will also have to fill out and sign a release form under the Privacy Act of 1974 so USCIS can release your information to the senator's office, the contact page should contain a PDF of it.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

Thank you so much. Very valuable info!

@sandranj hi sorry to bother, is just my lawyer seams be lost about the filling fee for ead renewal under c31. She ask me to buy $540 in money order but seams wrong. Can you please help me and if you have a link showing the filling fee is highly appreciated. Thank you

$410 as per USCIS. The planned fee hike was blocked by a federal court in Immigration Legal Resource Center et al., v. Wolf, et al. There is no biometric fee for C31 renewals.

Hello everyone,

I filed for vawa in 2018 and my petition is still pending,

My abusive ex ( still legally married, going through pending) doesn't know anything about it, however she wants me deported,  and she is still sending letters to USCIS up to this day ( I found out through FOIA requests to uscis )

My question is will the officer making a decision on my case have access to the letters she is sending or not .

Thank you.

She advised you based on the initial proposed fee increase which thankfully didn't follow through. The fee is still $410 but hey wait for Sandra so you can rest easy!😊👍

If there was a template in petitions, everyone's case would be weirdly uniform. Also for those asking about template in answering RFEs or enquiring about their cases..NO there's no template! Just pen down your peculiar situation or enquiry!👍

Hi guys!
I went to my immigration interview today without my husband, the officer was rude and made me provide statement as to why I filed Vawa and refused to hold my I-485 in abeyance. It’s all in God’s hands now.

thanks for the advice.

Hi,

it's $410. And I used personal check. The reason is because I'll know when USCIS withdraws it.

Hi everyone. My AOS interview is a few days away and I have an important question;

Do I have to have the Interview Letter to get in the Federal Plaza building on the day of my interview? As of today, neither I nor my lawyer have received it yet. The way my lawyer found out about the interview was IO calling him to let him know about the interview, that's it. If so, can an emergency infopass be made immediately? What can I do at this point? Thank you all in advance.

Your interview letter is your passport to the interview! When your attorney got the call, why didn't he ask the officer about the interview letter? They check you in at federal plaza with your interview letter..don't know if there is a way around this.💁
