You're welcome to this family!😊 anyway keep gathering your documents..and about the self affidavit..start at the beginning...how you met, who asked who out..how you guys hit it off and decided to be together..(courtship) then on to marriage...who proposed..who bought rings..where did this happen..on to the ceremony etc..at what point in the marriage did the abuse start..write your heart out..lay it all bare..once you start..it will all come out. It's a therapy on it's own..writing! 😊👍

Thank you 🙏 @Stillwinning!!!😊

I wrote down the years. For example 2015- pick out the major incidents including meeting, wedding, etc.

2016 - same thing

Then use this points to write the  story in full and well detailed.

I think villanelle ( a member here) can give you a sample if you send her a message.

Thank you @Restez Forts will definitely send her a message

Hello All, qq on Congressman inquiry

i would like to reach out to congressman on my aos interview cancellation online update in case i do not receive paper notice by this week. I have a lawyer representing my case but they may charge me extra for this enquiry. Can I reach out myself to find out what happened on my case? Thank you for sharing any information!

Yes I do have fingerprints, they’re about a year old now, but I read that they notified people before using their old ones and I didn’t get that either.

I got an update recently saying  they have updated my fingerprints and I haven't gone for boimetrics lately. And nobody notified me about anything. Your fingerprints are not that old by the way.

Yes you can submit an inquiry to your local congressman and you will have to submit a privacy release form as well, and don't worry all your inquiries are confidential. From my experience reaching out to a congressman can really help.

https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

Just enter your ZIP and it will show who is your local representative and how you can contact them.

Good luck

It varies, usually when i requested assistance they replied to me in the next few days, byt with my last request i'm still waiting on the congressman to contact me and it has been one week now maybe they are delays of  COVID

Hi. I am april 2019 filler any my i360 apprived beginning of october. I have received this notice beginning of november. So since this notice related to my i485. Does it mean it is already in the local office? Also I am Brooklyn filler and as I understand wait time is so long. Receiving notice in 1 month isn't a good thing?  Can you guys clarify? How long more do you guys think I will be waiting for interview minimum? Thankss

This only points out that the validity of your medicals has lapsed! With USCIS, there's no telling! Most people have been waiting forever! The pandemic didn't help in most cases...as it increased their wait times while few got approved without coming in for interview. That said, my courtesy letter was received in June 2019 and actual interview in March 2020..approved same day! NYC filer!
