So I finally got copies if my receipts from my lawyer. I checked case status online and it says:

Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken. Oct 28th fingerprints have been applied to your case ( 131 & 765). By the way I did go for fingerprint years back. Did they use those? They are more than 5 years old.

Then 11/7  they sent another notice for me to go for fingerprint. The appointment is in my old state. Also it's connected to my old application for 2018 which was rejected.

When I  go to this appointment, does anyone know if they will accept a print out of my notice?

They sent my mail to old address in a different state and I have not received it yet.

I did and i spoke with someone from the office like 1 week ago but still the case assistance worker haven't contacted me back. Still idk if i have to be so persistent asking for my case to be resolved since as we all know Pres. Trump is not in favor of immigrants and i'm always afraid that my AOS interview once attended my GC will be denied, but i'm waiting since 2015 to get my case resolved and all i want is for my case to be resolved in a positive way and to finally to be able to have a normal live and not to worry if i will be deported if my spouse will again find me and so on. IDK if i should submit an online request for case outside normal processing time since my VAWA has been approved since 2019?

Hey, I know you waited a long time to get your vawa approved but it was just approved in 2019..you aren't passed processing times from reports gotten here..someone here was approved in 2018 and still waiting to get scheduled. Yes some cases get scheduled right away for some reason..but it doesn't happen for everyone. And yes you can contact more than one congressperson/senator..I did!💁 that said, keep pressuring them to look into your case..it doesn't hurt. You will be alright..It will be alright!👍

you are the most positive person on this form, thank you hun i will def try to do that, it is just that i qualify for a life-changing job and i only have like 30-60 days to get that resolve. If i manage to get it i will have safety and security both from my ex abuser and for my financial and health situation

Its gonna expire December 6, 2020 so I got the new one before the old one expires

If this is a C31 or C09 they do technically get extended for 180 days with the I-765 receipt notice as per USCIS: https://www.uscis.gov/working-in-the-united-states/information-for-employers-and-employees/automatic-employment-authorization-document-ead-extension

You might have to argue with whoever to take it, but you aren't completely screwed just yet.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

Due to COVID USCIS has been playing loose with how old of biometrics they will use. Considering that your fingerprints are extremely unlikely to change much short of you purposefully destroying them it does make sense that they would use some from 5 years ago.

They should accept a print out as long as it's good quality, especially when your options are a print out or nothing.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

Hello Family,

Today I just received my green card in hand. To God be the glory. For everyone, don’t give up hope. It came just in time for me to give birth next month to my first child.

Congratulations
