What's up people!
So, I see a lot of post April 2019 approvals recently and my second Prima Facie is about to expire.
Should I follow up with a congressman or normally everyone receives at least 3 Prima's ?
I am April 2019 filer, no RFE to date.

Congratulations lawyer. You finally got there. I was questioning myself why you haven't been approved with all these immigration knowledges that you got. Finally, congrats.

I'm in immigration proceedings, my lawyer sent i485 to Irving tx as you said last week. Applied vawa October 2019 with PF. Waiting....

Happy that your case is moving along. Good luck.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

No, since I am in administratively closed removal proceedings and had DACA I didn't file I-485. I didn't want to poke that bear just yet since if I'd get denied and I could just stay under the radar pretty much indefinitely with admin closed proceedings.

Speaking of which getting a termination on the removal proceedings is the next item on the agenda.

Yeah.

Congratulations. I hope you celebrate this appropriately :)

Hello fam --- I have learned this morning that my 485 AOS case has reached 16 months outside of processing times. Congress person only says that "constituent is waiting in queue for interview".

Case priority date: March 21 2017

Case Processing Times : July 31, 2018

Does anyone have a suggestion on what else I can do? My attorney is asking for 30K to file writs on mandamus and I don't have that money.

Hello fam,

I hope your day is going on well. Pls I need your urgent help once again, I have my i485 interview in few days and I am exhausted because of the things they requested. I have been gathering the information they asked for but unfortunately I cannot get hold of my children ( who are still in my home counttry) birth certificate which was among the documents he destroyed during an heated arguments back then.

I have been trying to get copies from local government in my home country but all effort proved abortive due to the pandemic infact they can't even ascertain when they can send me another copies exactly.

Please fam I need your urgent advice as it was specifically mentioned in  interview notice to bring it along with me.

Any advice is welcome. Thanks🙏

$30,000. Thirty thousand dollars.

Wow!!! I couldn't wrap it in my head how these lawyers gonna charge armS and LegS (yes with S). As a VAWA applicant I know the struggles of unemployment before EAD and being broke how the heck can we pay for that. By the grace of God I have mine approved without a lawyer and now waiting for I485. I am also doing my divorce now by myself and my income qualified for free of charge at the courthouse. It's a legwork on my part but can't afford anything.  I guess my point is please seek help without spending 30K. To me that is highway robbery.  I thought I remember @Stillwinning!!!😊 sought the help of a Senator and maybe that can help you as well. Good Luck!
