Do you mean October 27th of this year? If so then be aware that the process takes about 17-24 months for a decision on the i360..then there's another wait for the i485..about 5-12months..in some cases longer. You will need to be patient..just distract yourself with work and been a better version of yourself...that way time will go by faster.😊👍

@Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandranjThanks for the response. One more question pls, I need the I360 reciept to file my new I485 since my old I485 is denied and I'm on removal notice for 30days. I just need the receipt to send in my new fillings. Please,  what's the est for the I360 receipt after its received in Vermont?

Hello everyone

I have some good news on and question regarding my I360 case.

Filed Dec 2018

RFE request March 2020

RFE respond received July 2020

Oct 26th - We ordered your new card

Oct 28th - card was picked by USPS.

Unfortunately, after sending update address to VT twice and congresswoman's intervention. my mail was still sent to my old address.

UPS updated that mail was forwarded on Oct 31ths to new address.

I have visited post office the two post office but none was helpful.

The mail has now been returned to the center today.

I was able to schedule Info pass appointment yesterday to update my address at the local office.

Question, what do I do next?

How do i get the card sent back to me?

I have not received approval letter  from VT yet, will this affect my approval or process time?

Please advise @sandranj  @Stillwinning!!!😊  And eveyone.

Thanks

Hey family again I’m sorry to ask many times

after my Psychologist gave me his letter and transfer to hospital the doctor will give me some Medication so should I send it to vawa case as a Support ? If yes what should I send the Prescription of the meds or what ? Plz 🥺🥺

Your therapist can write about this update detailing the extent of trauma which required the attention of a doctor and the medication prescribed. Yeah so you can send it to USCIS, as evidence can be sent in anytime before final adjudication. All the best!👍

Your approval will not be affected..you are already approved. There are folks who encountered same here..and still got the card. Hopefully they say how it all went down..I've definitely read about few cases just can't remember what they had to do..but I recall they still got the card. Congratulations!😊👍

Got mine back in 2017 within 2 weeks..but trend has changed since then..we're seeing people wait up to 8 weeks to get it. That said..anywhere from 2-8 weeks..this means you can receive it in 3, 4, 5 weeks sooner or later.👍😊

Hope all you all are doing well.

I have my interview for green card on Monday.

The notice says to bring the i864w  form but I can't find it online.

All I find is this. Does anyone have the form ?

 https://www.uscis.gov/update-to-form-i-864w-intending-immigrants-affidavit-of-support-exemption

I took mine but brought it back as it wasn't requested..the interview notices aren't customized..they are generic..I don't think you need it though.💁

Hi everyone once again,

I got good news this time, I am finally scheduled for the interview. It will take place in 20 days.

As far as my attorney told me, my lawyer had a chance to talk to an IO about my case and received the interview notice right away.

Here is my timeline;

I am a Queens, Ny filer; PD: April 2017,

Received RFE in August 2018,

Case was approved on January 2019

Since then I've been waiting until today and finally got scheduled.

IO requested 4 things from my lawyer that they need for the interview as;

1-) completed medical exam,

2-) 2019 tax return,

3-) most recent pay stub, w-2 form etc,

4-) disposition for my past arrest (it was a false arrest indeed and released in 2 hours & could've sued NYPD but didn't bother)

So that's all for now, I did the flu shot today and possibly do the remaining medicals tomorrow to get started.

Thank you all for your help, answers, and motivation as well. God bless you all. Good luck to all especially NY filers for the long wait times, don't lose your hope and give up...

Be safe everyone, wish you all fast approvals.

Hey there..congratulations! I hope it all goes smoothly!🙏😊

Hello all,

I hope your day is going on well. My i360 was approved 3months ago and I just received my interview date yesterday coming up in days. I was asked to bring some documents which I clearly do not understand. Some of which are:

- All documentation establishing my eligibility for lawful permanent resident

- Any immigration related document ever issued to me

- All travel documents used to enter United States including my passport which expired 2years ago. ( can I go with the expired passport or I have to renew before my interview date?????).

Pls fam, your earnest response will be greatly appreciated as my interview date is very close.

N.B: if you can also help me with some interview likely questions the officer may ask as well. Thanks all.

I went with my expired passport then and it wasn't an issue! The questions aren't one size fits all. It depends on the officer and your peculiar situation. Basically they're supposed to focus on the i485. So it will be beneficial for you to go through that form. In some cases like mine, you'll be in and out within minutes! Congratulations dear!😊👍🇺🇸

@MariFD They usually aren't supposed to ask you about abuse..but hey we've read about straying officers who want to re-adjudicate the i360 all over again on i485 interview day!💁 If there are questions you can handle without breaking down, do so politely..if not simply tell the officer you do not wish to be reminded of the trauma which you're still suffering! Be polite but firm. All the best dear!😊👍🇺🇸

Thank you for the update. Now that I filed my vawa case, should I careless about the removal notice on my I485, since I will be filling new one immediately I received I360 reciept. My lawyer advised me to wait for the receipt before I send the i485 in that it will be well sorted and my denial notice days in 12 days today. @sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊 @Precious100 @Matou anyone?

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Nigeria
Timeline

Hi Family I filled 1 485 Feb 2018 but my case was denied in July 2019 after we were invited 3 times and my spouse refused to show up. I left and returned back to my country. My spouse filled for divorce and I called the court to defend myself, after seeing all the evidences against him. They asked why didn’t I file Vawa against him. Can I still file and do I stand a chance. We are from thesame country
