Hi everyone once again,

I got good news this time, I am finally scheduled for the interview. It will take place in 20 days.

As far as my attorney told me, my lawyer had a chance to talk to an IO about my case and received the interview notice right away.

Here is my timeline;

I am a Queens, Ny filer; PD: April 2017,

Received RFE in August 2018,

Case was approved on January 2019

Since then I've been waiting until today and finally got scheduled.

IO requested 4 things from my lawyer that they need for the interview as;

1-) completed medical exam,

2-) 2019 tax return,

3-) most recent pay stub, w-2 form etc,

4-) disposition for my past arrest (it was a false arrest indeed and released in 2 hours & could've sued NYPD but didn't bother)

So that's all for now, I did the flu shot today and possibly do the remaining medicals tomorrow to get started.

Thank you all for your help, answers, and motivation as well. God bless you all. Good luck to all especially NY filers for the long wait times, don't lose your hope and give up...

Be safe everyone, wish you all fast approvals.

Congratulations 👏 👏

Hello all,

I hope your day is going on well. My i360 was approved 3months ago and I just received my interview date yesterday coming up in days. I was asked to bring some documents which I clearly do not understand. Some of which are:

- All documentation establishing my eligibility for lawful permanent resident

- Any immigration related document ever issued to me

- All travel documents used to enter United States including my passport which expired 2years ago. ( can I go with the expired passport or I have to renew before my interview date?????).

Pls fam, your earnest response will be greatly appreciated as my interview date is very close.

N.B: if you can also help me with some interview likely questions the officer may ask as well. Thanks all.

Hi Vawa VJ,

How is everyone doing?? I heard of this platform after success stories of top ideas and helping hands in the group.

I'm a new vawa filer. I filled October 27th, please whats the estimated time of receiving my receipt @sandra @Stillwinning!!!😊?? And anyone?

Do you mean October 27th of this year? If so then be aware that the process takes about 17-24 months for a decision on the i360..then there's another wait for the i485..about 5-12months..in some cases longer. You will need to be patient..just distract yourself with work and been a better version of yourself...that way time will go by faster.😊👍

Question

According to new rule, do i have to pay for i765 renewal under c09 category? If yes how much?

My vawa was approved in Nov 2018 and i485 still pending in NYC

@Six666, that’s a very long time and many people are getting interviews, I would suggest you reached out to the Ombudsman office, Kristin Gillibrand and even do an inquiry on the USCIS website.

How do we reachout to Ombudsman office? My cawa was approved since September 2018
