Based on what I observed, if money is not really an issue for you right now. You can take a chance to submit it and hope that straight approval without interview. Otherwise just wait for your interview date and bring it there.

Goodluck to you and God bless always

Money will be an issue😄 I will wait for the notice. Thank you so much and God bless you as well 😍

Hey everyone!!

Quick question, I submitted my I-765 on June 08th then I sent a request to expedite in August. When I check online it’s says request for evidence received 82 days ago. My question is if I asked for expedite because of dire medical and financial reasons with evidence should it still be taking this long?
I’m not impatient but I’m a vawa applicant with no family or friends and things are getting tough sometimes I don’t know how I go on.

thanks in advance

Hi everybody! Hope everyone is doing good and staying healthy.

I have a situation, uscis sent to my lawyer office a notice but as they are not really opendue covid the notice was return to uscis, I already let them know but as I said they are not not realy active I contact:

Ryan-Thomas Brown

District Representative
Office of Congressman DeSaulnier (CA-11).

What else can I do. Im feeling overwhelm because the notice is regarding my AOS

The congressman can usually get a copy of the notice for you. At least mine did.

Did you try the e-request as mentioned on the update? Also this happened to my c31 EAD the mailman marked it returned and I had exactly the same notice you have but I tried to intercept at the post office made calls and when I went back to my OLD address, there it was in the mailbox. But up to this point the update I see online on the uscis website is still like that what ur showing. Also try to call the post office who services your lawyer's address they may still have it as it is recent and u may get lucky. Some people will be helpful to trace it for you. Just tell them the urgency of the situation.

Case to be reviewed is normal response after interview. Many people here get that  same response and few days later, card production update.

It's always nice to ready a breakdown of people's interviews. Why don't you break it down and just walk us through your experience please.

Also, did you and your attorney sign a form to be represented by phone? Did the officer ask for it?

Thank you for the reply, here you go about my interview.

My online status for my I-485 was still showing the same message since 2017 ( WE RECEIVED YOUR CASE ) when my lawyer's office called me early October 2020 to tell me I have an interview in a few days as they received the interview notice from USCIS , so the first tip is make sure that the mailing address in you paperwork with USCIS is current, I then had a meeting with my lawyer via phone, went over all the questions in the I-485 form, she said yes or no question just answer yes or no don't talk too much unless officer asks for details, and she corrected me about some questions like the question about violating immigration law and since I overstayed my K-1 after marriage and VAWA, I had to answer this question with YES and explain the overstay, and another question about being cited or arrested I had to update my answer to YES as I was cited for 2 speeding tickets after I filed in 2017, and I explained that one was dismissed and the other still in court as I refuse to pay it and prefer to pay for a lawyer to fight it and get it dismissed as well, so I can keep my record clean.

my interview was at 8 am the letter said not show up before 07:45 am, so I did just that, you go through security check and they see your letter give you a number and you wait to be called, my officer came and called me from the waiting area, we went to her office and she asked for all my US issued documents ( driving license, SSN and work permit ) and my passports from my home country, after that I asked her if I can call my lawyer on the phone so she can attend the meeting with me ( the interview notice mentioned that my lawyer can attend with me by herself OR by phone ) officer asked for her name and since it wasn't the same name on my paperwork as I had a new lawyer, she asked for the G-28 which I had with me and gave to her then she took the lawyers cell phone number and called her on her office land line and started the interview, she went over my I-485 info and verified them, then started the I-485 questions, worth mentioning that I had and RFE on my VAWA but she didn't ask any questions about it and was just the I-485 questions only, the questions that was extra was about where I live and who lives with me and I said my GF and she asked if she is a US citizen I said yes she wanted her name I gave it to her, she asked if I have other email addresses other than the one in the paperwork I said yes she asked me to write it down and I did, she gave me back my ID and all documents BUT she kept my interview notice and didn't give it back to me, and she concluded the interview and told me she will do background check and will make a decision by end of day, and asked if I have any questions I said no, she escorted me out waved me good bye and that was it, by the time I made it to my car my lawyer have texted me that it went well and officer didn't seem concerned about anything and she said it was normal that the officer kept my interview notice letter ( so keep a copy before the interview for your record ) if anyone have any questions I would be glad to answer.

Thanks again and best of luck for all of us.

Question 16, 17... you should put YES if you did work without authorization. It’s ok with VAWA. I put YES and my greencard is approved.

Question 24b, 24c... I don’t know :) you probably wanna hear what @sandranj says...

For the reply

I misread the question 24b and 24c.

My only concern now is question 16 and 17. I did put no in the application.

So i.will probably answer yes to it in the interview in case and hope for the best.

I had put NO to question 16 in my I485 form by mistake and I mentioned it during my interview and the officer changed it. It didn’t cause any problems.
