Hello everyone,

I had my AOS interview 10 days ago, the interview was very smooth nothing out of the normal questions, my lawyer attended with me via phone and said it went well, my I -485 online status changed to - interview was completed and my case must be reviewed - is this a normal update or it means that my case is being scrutinized more? Please help. Thanks you @sandranj or anyone that have any experience with this kind of status.

any RFE

I got an initial RFE for good moral character (even though I sent the police clearance report) but that was it.

Hi All, thank you all for sharing your experiences with such details, it has been so helpful! I hope all the best to all of you!

I am a vawa applicant in june 2019, still waiting on my case approval. In the meantime i am applying for renewal of my i-131 advance parole. I was issued previously an advance parole but i never used it. Last time i entered in the usa years ago, was under my b1 tourist visa. When you apply for renewal of i-131 what should i put under class of admission in the form? B1 since i never used it or c09? Thank you so much!

In this specific case put down B-1 since that's the last status you've been admitted under.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

Congratulations. What did you send in for GMC?

Thank you.

Police clearance letter from the last 2 counties I live in (last 4 years) and a written affidavit saying I’m a person of good character, never had problems with police.

Thank you for the sharing.

After you sent these documents, they still requested for more GMC evidence?

With the initial application I only sent the affidavit and 1 police clearance. After I filled I moved to another county so when they sent the RFE I sent the 1st one again, got a new clearance from the new county and wrote another affidavit.

They issued RFE on my case as well. I haven’t received it yet.

Case to be reviewed is normal response after interview. Many people here get that  same response and few days later, card production update.

It's always nice to ready a breakdown of people's interviews. Why don't you break it down and just walk us through your experience please.

Also, did you and your attorney sign a form to be represented by phone? Did the officer ask for it?

Does anybody know if it’s ok to use Medi-Cal after getting greencard? Or would it affect my citizenship application in 3 years? I’m unemployed due to covid and my health insurance is under Medi-Cal, this means I basically pay nothing. I never applied for it even with prima facie but with covid going on I wanted to be prepared just in case.

Is there any link or info that explains what we are expected to do or not to do when we apply for citizenship? Like VAWA self-petitioners are exempt from public charge when adjusting status but how about after receiving greencard? Are we still exempt from public charge? I’m waiting for my card, it’s been mailed to me. I just wanna do everything right from now on so I won’t have problems when I apply for citizenship.
