Hi guys i just wanted to ask if anyone has a clue why  a scenario like this would happen.

im a 2017 nyc filler

Vawa approved 2019 aug.

i485 transferred to local office 2019 aug too.

but now the update on i485 doesnt indicate that it has been transferred to local office.

and it says “Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It. “ this was the message i had before my i485 was transferred to my local office.

what can trigger the update on file to roll back?
any clue?

many thanks

It happened to me.. completely blanked out the exact same day I received the email notification that actions have been taking on my case I checked it out it showed all the updates and approval for my i485 then in 2 hours tops it said can't show case status at this time. And it hasn't shown that my case has been approved ever since just interview was cancelled and correspondence has been mailed to me.. but today I got my daughter i485 approval letter. So I know we are in fact approved. I worried all weekend.. but I read that the system went down.. last week.. so that could be the answer

Hey Beautiful people,

I just had my I-485 interview based on approved VAwA and I think God answered my prayer today. The officer was extremely nice, kind and respectful. For everyone that’s worried (like I was), go with confidence. You have nothing to be afraid of with interviews. It’s mostly the yes or no questions. She asked if I was still married and copy of divorce papers. It was straight forward and my attorney felt like she was pleasant ### well. She said she’d review my file but my attorney should be getting card in the mail in 4-6 weeks. I pray and know we’ll all succeed with getting our green cards. I’ll keep everyone updated when I get my green card in hand. Totally time 1yr and 9 months from the date I-360 was filed (Jan 2019), but initial I-485 held from Aug 2018 filing with ex. I hope this gives everyone hope like I got. Thank you @sandranj and @Stillwinning!!!😊 for the responses to my questions. You may not like the answer they give, but they give you facts and truth. There are more to thank and you all know who you are.

Congratulations 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Good morning everyone,

I just want to share some information of my timeline for people who applied recently.

• July 2019 filed i485, i765 and i131 through marriage to LPR at NBC

• July 2020 filed i360, i765 and i131 at VSC

• September 1, 2020 received receipts for i360, i765 and i131 from VSC.

• September 25, 2020 received transfer notices for i485, i765 and i131 from NBC to VSC.

• October, 2020 interview was scheduled for November, 2020 through marriage (even though my i485 was already transferred to VSC). My lawyer requested to postpone interview until i360 is approved.

• October 15, 2020 received prima facie.

Next step is receiving EAD and Advanced Parole. I’m hopping to get it before Christmas, but we will see. Everything is kind of slow due to COVID.

I485 through marriage to LPR? I thought only citizen spouse can file adjustment of status. If you are already in the US.

So the officer basically told you there will be a review but you will get your GC in 4-6 weeks? That sounds like approved at the spot.

I had my interview last week and the officer told me there will be a review and he can’t tell me when I’d hear back due to corona. So I’m waiting 🙄🙄🙄

No, if visa bulletin for spouses of LPRs is current, you can file i485 before i130 is approved. Read instructions to i485 before you say something like that.

That’s what it sounds like to me, so I’m going to claim it. We will both be celebrating soon with card in hand. My attorney has been getting green cards within 1 week of interview or 2 weeks, so she said congratulations as well to me. The officer was just extremely helpful like she wanted to issue it right then, but due to Covid and having to leave divorce paper copy for 72hrs, she had to review it.
