Just curious...

Most people I know (not from the US) do not like our pizza as much as from their country....including my husband.

Well, I vote American - but I'm the USC.

Had it been my hubby voting - he'd have said Brazilian.

Tonight we're going to our friends' house for homemade pizza - Colombian style.

For Brazilians it must come down to the city. The pizza in Sao Paulo is the best pizza I ever ate. The pizza in Rio is literally the WORST pizza I've ever tried to choke down.

Pizza is pizza everywhere, but I still prefer the brazilian pizza over the american pizza.

One thing that's good about Brazilian pizza everywhere (though I think a lot of the topings are ####### and most places don't make pizza that to me tastes good) is the round box. The square box here is just kind of dumb.

What I don't understand is when I was in England, most of the menus for pizza carryouts listed American pizza having corn as a topping.

If it's so American, why isn't corn listed as a topping choice when I call pizza hut, little ceasars, papa john's or domino's? Even when I lived in Chicago and ordered from local places there... no corn. hmmm.

Life long Texan, living in Hull, UK. How did this happen?

11 January - We met online and became friends

4 February - Became a couple

17 March - I went to Hull to meet the guy

20 March - First "I love you"

25 March - I go home :(

16 November - He comes to visit me in Texas

25 November - he leaves back home :(

14 December - ENGAGED! <3

1 March- I fly off to see my babe in Hull

4 April - I go home :(

9 October - He comes back to Texas!!!!

13 October - WEDDING!!!

22 October - He goes back to England and I continue to wait for my settlement visa.

OOOOh, I just have to say that the Colombian pizza we had tonight was the BEST.

My student made them for us....she put corn and bacon on one pizza, very very very good fruit pizza (with figs even), chicken and mushroom...

mmmm, so good!

I love American pizza the most but Brazilian pizza is good with that catupiry (sp?) stuff. When I was in Rio I had quite a few bad pizzas and a couple really good ones.

Best pizza I ever had was from the pizza place just down the road from my dorm. Italian dude would make it right in front of you.

Ah, good stuff.

D. agreed when he was visiting and he got the seafood pizza. It had a little octopus thingie on there. That was kinda odd but he said it was the best pizza he ever had.
