Hello there,

Have a few questions while filling out the I-130 form.

Immigration Info under Your Beneficiary

Was the beneficiary EVER in the United States?

> YES

What is the beneficiary's Passport number?

> The passport she used to enter the US has expired. Does she give the old passport number or the new one?

What is the beneficiary's Travel Document number?

> Is Travel Document same as I-94 that she has from her last entry (2016)? If not, what should I use for the Travel Document #?

What is the expiration date of the beneficiary's Passport or Travel Document?

> Should I put the expiration date of the passport (new/old as referenced in previous question) or Travel Document (if same as I-94)?

Adjustment of Status under Other information

At which USCIS office will the beneficiary apply for adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident?

> Is there a list of offices that I can choose from or is City and State where she'll be residing after entering US as my spouse?

At which U.S. Embassy or Consulate location will the beneficiary apply for an immigrant visa?

> Can this be any US consulate or we have to pick from a specific list? She is in Ontario, Canada.

Thank you!

Present tense questions are answered in the present tense.

Is your spouse in the USA now, and intending to adjust status, or are you pursuing a spouse visa.  It's one or the other, not both.

If adjusting status, you are better to do a concurrent filing on paper and by mail.  Filing the I-130 online will complicate the process and cause a delay.

Thank you for the reply.

We're pursuing spouse visa and she is currently in Ontario, Canada.

Then the answer for where she'll adjust status is "Not Applicable".  The answer for Consulate is Montreal.  Only on immigrant visa unit in any country.  For Canada, Montreal.

Put the number of the passport she last used to enter the US.  For Travel Document, put "N/A".

From the I-130 form instructions --

Passport and Travel Document Numbers. [...] if the beneficiary relative used a passport or travel document to travel to the United States, enter either the passport or travel document information in the appropriate space on the petition, even if the passport or travel document is currently expired.

If you are pursuing a spouse visa, put "N/A - Not in the US".  Your wife is not applying for adjustment of status.

Pick "Montreal".  That's the only consulate in Canada that processes immigrant visas.

If by choosing a consulate at this stage (We are in Montreal) does this mean we are opting for DCF

No, that's not how to initiate DCF.  Selecting a consulate at that section of the I-130 is part of every normal petition filing.  DCF requires explicit approval from the consulate to be allowed to file the I-130 petition directly.
