Yes just wondering when i will received my application back so i dont need to worry and refile it and send it back prolly mid september to make it sure

Hannacullen, we don't know when you will receive your application back.  These are unpredictable times - and with Labor Day thrown in, it may take even longer.  You'll just have to wait, and then refile.

Best of luck.

Now that you have the documents back, just make sure that you are using the most up to date forms ( 12/31/2019) and resend on 9/10/2020 with $680  ( $595 filing fee and $85 Biometric service fee) to:

USCIS
P.O. Box 21200
Phoenix, AZ 85036

If you wait to file after 10/2/2020, then the fee will have gone from $595 to $760.

What was the exact date that they received it? I had originally said it took us 3.5 weeks to get it back, How long was yours? We can use this info to help answer questions in the future.

One day early is too early.  A month is just not reading the instructions.

We've covered this here numerous times. People need to be patient.

I've always said that there is a difference between preparing early while being patient and camping infront of the PO or computer.

I hope OP sends it a few days after September 8th and not exactly on September 8th. Because if it is rejected again and you have to refile, it'll be past Oct 2nd. You'll have to cough up new fees.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Agree.  There is no real benefit in mailing the package early in order to have the I-751 received exactly on the day the 90 day window opens....then they worry and worry that it might arrive a day early.  Best practice, imo, is just to wait until after the window opens before mailing......just as you said.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
