Estimated Delivery time after Issued

Hello everyone,

After receiving a 221(g) at my interview on August 17th and going through two weeks of administrative, my visa switched to “Issued” first thing on Thursday morning (September 3rd). It is of course, a major relief however I have not yet received any notification of a tracking number from the courier service. Does anyone have any idea how long after being issued does this usually occur?

thanks in advance

In London, I have never noticed “batches” as mentioned by the member from Germany. Most of the time, the courier notification will follow “issued” by 2 days and delivery will be the next day.  With yours spanning the weekend, best guess will probably be a Monday or Tuesday delivery. Monday is also Labor Day holiday for the embassy, but that shouldn’t affect the UK courier who has the passport by now.

I received my visa two weeks ago. Interview Monday, Wed changed to AP, 2 hours later changed to Issued, received passport on Friday. Also I had mine delivered to my home and never received a tracking number email or text. It just arrived. I’d guess your passport will be with you very soon.

Thanks for the response, fingers crossed mine arrives as promptly as yours
