...... Also , to my suprise the embassies do not produce the interview dates the DOS does. You can call them (202-663-1225) to see when your interview is scheduled. Good luck all!!!!

I didn't know about that  So what do you think what is the best time to call them- after NVC send our case to US Consulate or after 3 package?

I called the NVC continuously until I spoke to a live person. Each time I spoke to someone at the NVC they were very friendly and helpful. The automated system never showed the case................

Didn't want to call.... but did .....

Lady from NVC kindely explained me that it usually takes 2-4 weeks before they recieve cases... and I asked why before I have been told 90 days, and she explaned that it happened only few times with some cases, but happened that's why they tell this... she also told me to check via automated voice system as they have the same information.... I guess I am to unpatient :innocent:

Took mine 21 days. Have you gotten through to NVC at all? Around 7:30am or from 8pm to midnight Eastern time are the best times to call. Apparently NVC doesn't send the beneficiary nor the petitioner anything in the mail. The next correspondence you will get will be the Packet 3 from the consulate.

Actually, the NVC does send you a notice. I never received my NOA2 but I do have a letter from the NVC saying "...received an approved I-129F...This letter is to let you know that within a week the petition will be forwarded to the appropriate visa-issuing post where your visa interview will take place."

The letter also includes a new case number. I received my letter on June 18th and my fiancee received packet 3 on June 23. Thankfully for us, things seem to be moving along now.

With my case, I called everyday and they never received it. Then the next random day I called they said they not only recieved it but it was already sent to the embassy. I am wondering if they even bother putting the petitions in the system until they are approved and sent out??? If the beneficiary is from a "country of interest" (ie. middle east) or has a name or last name "of interest" it might take alittle or alot longer. Some people unfortunetly have been held up at the NVC for 2 months or longer.

If you were approved recently and are wondering where your petition is you can do the RFE trick to get your service center to see if it left the building. My petition sat at CSC for a week before it was sent to the NVC. This way you at least know where it is and when the NVC "should" get it.

Met Dec. 4 2006

1st visit to Russia - Jan. 23-30.

Engaged Jan. 24

CSC recieved and pending - NOA1 March 1

Touched- March 9 - recieved NOA1 hard copy in mail.

2nd visit - March 12 -27

Touched - May 23 (pleeeeeeeeeeeease)

APPROVED MAY 22 (On 5/25 I did the RFE trick and the CSC said it was approved 5/22. The dufus at USCIS was completely positive they were only working on Nov. 2006 petitions)

May 30th- Petition leaves CSC for NVC.

3rd visit - May 31 - August 31 ( If all goes well she will come home with me!!!)

Left NVC June 11th (I called everyday since 5/30 and they never recieved it??? Then on 6/13 I called and it was not only recieved but already sent to the embassy 6/11??
