Thats exactly the way that it was with me. I have not slept properly for a week. Claudia has slept fine and has had these earthquakes to deal with :)

Wow, where is everyone?? This thread has gone practically silent, does everyone have their visa already??

Well, I'm getting REALLY nervous now, tomorrow night (my time) is my fiance's interview. Mid level government employee's just shouldn't have this much power over people's lives! The decision they make in 5-10 minutes can signficantly alter the course of our lives, it just isn't right!

Anyway, best of luck to all that still haven't had their interviews and I'll be sure to post and let you guys know how it goes.

I agree :) Everyone disappeared somewhere... Qberts7 good luck with visa interview I am sure you will get it!

As for me... I am closing down all business I have here in Kazakhstan... I try to spend every weekend with my parents and sisters because I will miss them a lot in States. Also I need to translate all my documents including Birth Certificate, Diploma into English so we will be ready for AOS filing and my job haunting... another news that we actually changed our wedding date and it is 12 January... we changed it because it will give us more time to organise everything together..

Ok... Good luck to everyone!

Hi Ladywhite,

Yeah unfortunately even though I gave original boarding pass stubs to show the last few times I was there, it wasn't enough for the interviewer. So I have to send her copies of my passport pages that show the stamps of the last time I entered and exited Thailand (which is already sent now and she should receive by Monday). And for some reason the birth city on her birth certificate and on her passport are different, so she has to go have her passport amended to have it match her birth certificate (she's gonna do that tomorrow).

So she'll have both of those ready for her to go back to the embassy on Tuesday (since Monday is a US holiday) to turn them in, and hopefully then be issued the visa:).

I asked her how the interview was and she said, 'well a guy asked me about 3 questions and then gave me the paper to get these 2 items, was that the interview?' I was laughing even though we were both in a bad mood after getting the paper. Thankfully we didn't have her flight scheduled for a couple days after the interview! So even with this delay, hopefully she'll still make her flight.
