Maybe it's just me, but everytime I call NVC I get someone that is not pleasant to talk to. This is EVEN BEFORE I get a chance to speak.

"Agent XXXXX", CIS or NVC number please..."

I've had call center jobs before and IF NVC recorded and reviewed conversations, they'll be out in the cold if you are terse with customers. I guess my frustration is getting the better of me.

Thank you so much for all your words..!!! I knew that US Embassy in Kazakhstan works fast. I recieved instruction and appointment date by E-mail. I asked them if I need to send them anything before interview and they told me that not. so I guess this is my packet 3 and 4 :) I am going to update Kazakhstan page here....

I talked yesterday with my Fiance and we worry that I will not recieve all necessary documents before my interview, as bank will send account information in 10 working day minimum + 5 working days via FedEx or DHL transfer to Kazakhstan.... so hopefully we will be on time..

I am so exited :)

Elmira,

Will they accept a faxed document from your bank? When your SO receives the paper from the bank, he could fax it to you or scan it in the computer and email it to you. Just a thought that might be worth checking into.

Just keep calling that number. You will get through. I always had the best success during the day despite what the recording says. They are open until 12 eastern time though so I would try whenever you get a chance.

I would go ahead have him snail mail you those other documents that you need and then just email you other as added proof. August 3rd? WOW!!! That's soon! Hope you're getting all packed. How soon after you receive your visa will you be flying home?

By the way, you didn't mention taking any evidence of an on-going relationship.

Tomorrow he is going to notize I-134. and his sister will do the same in Boston as she lives there, so hopefully this week he will send me all documents including copy of our I-129F package, copy of USCIS approval letter. I will take another evidence as pictures, letter, phone bills, boarding passes etc...

As for leaving Kazakhstan for US.... oh well I workl for British Embassy here in Kazakhstan and my contract is till 28 October so I will fly out on 29 October, so hopefuly we celebrate Halloween together :)

and what about your plans?
