The e2 spouse extension of stay and EAD now approved and issued last month.

Most importantly here’s what we have learned from this situation.

Calling the USCIS call Center with extended waits on hold multiple times, encountering the most obnoxious representatives imaginable: Waste of time

escalation to level two: more wasted time encountering more excuses and reciting the USCIS website.

Contacting congressional representative: complete waste of time, only receiving disingenuous canned  email responses.

expedite request: denied

filed lawsuit in federal court with tro request against USCIS, service center and officials:

matter successfully resolved within about 3 weeks

costs: litigation around $10,000

lost income: approximately $44,000

bottom line: litigation is the way to go

nothing just USCIS his attention quicker then highlighting their incompetence and or challenging their operation procedures.
