Hello, my husband has his cr-1 interview in about two weeks at the Amman, Jordan Embassy. We have the original non-conviction paper that we uploaded to the NVC website in may. For the visa interview, they request a non-conviction report as well. My question is, should we obtain a new certificate or will the one that was uploaded in may to the NVC website be accepted at the interview? The reason I ask is that this paper might take a while to obtain.

I don't think that they'll ask for it. The Department of States website says it is valid for a year for applicants in the Jordanian Embassy

It doesn't hurt to apply for a more updated documents anyways, just in case.

Hi, my husband is also in Amman and we uploaded his non convection in February, he had his interview on 8-12, however he got a new one printed because its only good for 6 months. Its best to have them new, the paper usually comes out in a few days you can order it online and the fee online too I believe its 6 dinars. Make sure you have copies in arabic and english submitted a week before the interview date. Good luck

Thank you! The problem is that my husband is police here and they don’t have open access to the records like civilians do, it will take him at least a month. Our paper isn’t older than six months, so I hope they accept it. We will put our mail in today as the interview is next week. I am here in Amman, I will try to go with but I doubt they will let me enter.
