Jessica Krug: George Washington University professor says she lied about being black

A US academic whose work focuses on Africa and the African diaspora has said she lied about being black.

Jessica Krug, an associate professor at George Washington University (GWU), admitted that she was in fact a white Jewish woman from Kansas City.

"I have built my life on a violent anti-Black lie," a blog post written under Ms Krug's name read.

The university said it was investigating the blog post but would not comment further.

Ms Krug's case, which has drawn surprise and condemnation from those who know her, bears strong parallels to Rachel Dolezal, a white race activist who claimed to be black.

Ms Dolezal first made headlines in 2015 when her parents outed her as white.

The former civil rights activist and African studies instructor had kept up the pretence of being African American for years, but said she "identified as black".

Mental illness is normalized now by the left rather than treated so this really isn't shocking.

 

A normal American can ignore all the white self-hatred pushed and be a good person, others will psychologically collapse and try to LARP as someone/something else. It's also used as a weapon to destabilize, you really see the output of cognitive dissonance on a person and how the left's and their media buddies' forced variety has no logical outcomes, it's merely causing a mess just because.

If white privelege is all the rage these days that some claim it to be, then why are these people pretending to be other than white?  Let's include Pocahantas in these examples... why is it mostly women pretending to be something they are not?  Or am I just forgetting the men who have done it as well?

Just follow my lead. I have been on Platinum for some time. My finger hurts from giving  Tbone rep points this morning. I even laughed at one of his jokes for extra points. Heading toward Jadeite status

I have said before: only Al gets to ask -- not tell -- me to make sandwiches. Though tomorrow I think we are going to have leftovers from all the hamburger patties I made for tonight that we ended up not using (my sister was being weird about many things, among them what was on the menu, even after she requested hamburgers).
