No Updates on K1 yet. Hopefully we will start getting email for the cancelled interviews in March onwards.

Heard of several CR/IR interviews being rescheduled...hopefully that means K1 will be starting soon as well!

Did they only take your missing documents or you did a new interview. I had a 221g for missing police certificate nothing more.

Missing documents with passport , later after 11 months cause of the pandemic they returned the passport and requested a new pcc and medical with passport. Submitted all docs at vfs Nov 23, 2020 and visa issued Dec 02

Congratulations! 🤩

My only concern is that

My fiancé received the passport with the visa today K1 also her friend received too at the same time. Both are K1 and none are mission critical. On her friend's passport it said at the bottom says:

*Exception under pp on risk to labor market
on My fiancé passport it doesn’t say anything like that .. can she still fly to the US !!

I did ask @Greenbaum and he said she can fly .. he helped me all this was..

K1s are not a part of any proclamation as far as I know, so I don't understand why that would need to be specified on the visa. As long as she has a valid k visa there's no reason for an airline not to let her board. Because K1s can't work anyway until they receive a permit for that, so it's obvious that they're not a risk to the labor market in US, unlike the spouse, who can work immediately. So she should be fine. They issued the visa, means, she's ready to use it.

I’m still nervous to why they issued two diff k 1 visas to non mission critical ... I’m afraid to head to the airport ...

thanks anyways
