Yeah sometimes it's hard to know whose side he's on

Wallace won't be tough on both sides.

It's academic anyway, because the debates won't happen.

Whoever's pulling Hiden's strings won't permit them.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I'm extremely pessimistic about the media's role in these debates.

All that matters is they ask whatever questions they're going to ask, enforce the time limits (fairly), that's it. I doubt that's what they're going to do though, assuming these debates even happen. In the past, they've given questions in advance to preferred candidates, they've argued with candidates, and selectively enforced time limits. I don't trust them at all, and just because Chris Wallace is with FOX doesn't mean anything, he's been a very big establishment fanatic. Tucker I know respects the process enough to where he'd ask hard questions that better represent issues concerning conservatives (seeing the other two will have an overt left tilt), especially to Trump.. Tucker has a better record of hammering Republicans about relevant things, Chris Wallace appeals to run of the mill "positions" and nonsensical "scandals" that appeal to the parties and not the voters. They wouldn't ever agree to him though because both parties prefer softball questions they can knock out of the park in the polls, or at minimum, won't hurt them with X segment.

debate moderator: "mr biden, is water wet?"

biden: "yes"
debate moderator: "president trump, what is the molecular structure of U-236."

president trump:  "i don't know"

headlines the next day:  biden beats trump in science!

Yes I'm very curious if they will happen and how it could be possible for him to speak logically for that amount of time

I don't know much about the other two moderators besides Chris wallace, do you guys?

I know them both, Welker (NBC) is not much different from Katie Tur and co, very biased toward Democrats. I'd say Scully (C-SPAN) hides his bias very well, is more likely to interview someone fairly. Chris Wallace is someone that clearly has a bias toward establishment candidates of either party.  I've seen Scully do interviews with Breitbart people and while I was somewhat turned off by giving so much attention to the "extremism" caricature (Breitbart is biased right wing media, ever since the MSM went off the deep end circa 2015 they've actually rebranded as much more level-headed), he didn't do it in the demagoguing way I'd expect from say a Don Lemon, Bill O'Reilly, or Rachel Maddow, I thought he was otherwise rather fair. Of the three, I'm under the impression that Scully might be the fairest, but there's no point in assumptions, each time I thought I'd be watching a "fair" interviewer/journalist, I wound up eating my words. This is a debate involving two different people (wish it was 3-5 involving third parties), so we'll see which moderator is more apt to let the candidates appeal to voters on their own terms and which want to try and narrate a debate that isn't even about them.
