DJBali, welcome...Maybe you can provide more info for us. Are you the benificiary? What country? What type of visa?

You should have had your fingerprints done prior to your interview, so I'm not sure if you did that or what they are requesting exactly regarding that.

As far as the sponser, the petioner did not meet the income guidelines that are set forth to sponser someone to come to the usa. If this is correct, you will have to have someone else ( a third person) sponser both of you financially to get the process done.

I don't know if its denied, I think if you provide what they have asked for then you can move right along.

OK... Since you're from the Middle East, this might take a bit longer. Like Princess said, you didn't meet the income requirement and need a third person. Just have to ask your fiance to ask someone else to support

you financially. Don't be scared. At least you went for your interview. Take this as a good sign.

Good Luck.

I agree with Yasi, I think this is just another bump in the road and you are almost done. Admisnistrative processing does'nt mean you are denied. As long as you meet their requirements, you should be fine.

I wonder why they asked for fingerprints if you did them on the same day? Maybe they need time to an additional background checks. There is not too much information here about Abu Dhabi, but I know they have good ties with the US so don't be sad, you are almost there!

Keep coming of Visa Journey and let us know how the process is going. Make sure that your fiance follows up on the Administrative processing when she? he? gets the notice. Alot of people on Visa Journey have been in your shoes so you are not alone.

You already got lots of good advice. It sounds like typical AR... not a denial. So just provide them the info they ask for and sit tight while they finish processing.... insha'allah you will come through with flying colors !

I'll add you to the cheerleading thread... let us know when you get the visa !

Best of luck to you and your fiancee for a speedy finish to your case.
