Question on the i-129f

Hey guys, I'm filling out an i-129f and here is what the instructions state:

Item Numbers 37. - 38.h. Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record. Select the box to indicate whether your beneficiary has ever been in the United States. Provide the date of your beneficiary’s most recent entry in the United States, his or her I-94 Arrival-Departure Record Number, if available, and his or her immigration status at the time of arrival (for example, student, tourist, temporary worker, without inspection). Provide the expiration date and identification numbers on the I-94 or I-95 Arrival-Departure Records, travel documents, and or passports.

My fiancee told me that she has been to America but when she was very little (about 15+ years ago) and she barely remembers it. Should I check yes on 37. (Has your beneficiary ever been in the United States?) and leave the information about i-94 blank?

Marking the box "yes" makes the i94 information applicable,  so leaving it blank or even marking n/a is not correct.   Putting in approximate dates or even "unknown " would be better

YMMV

Read the form. Items 38a-h are only required if the beneficiary is currently in the US. If she isn't, you can skip those items. You would check Yes for 37, but won't need to provide details.

I just read it, I'm so dumb. Thank you

No worries! Just take your time and read through everything, most questions are self-explanatory. Good luck!

15 years ago was 2005 so at least you have the year. You can put approximate dates. Did she come with her parents? I assume so if she was a child. Maybe they can recall when it was - at least the month.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!
