Appreciate if someone can provide any inputs on these questions :

- I made several trips to Europe / Asia in last 5 years  ( 12 trips in total ) . The online N400 form doesn't have the space to fill in all the travel entries . In such cases what is the best option ?

- I changed my primary residence 7 times in last 5 years ( all work related ) . Again , N400 has only 5 entries . How do I provide the last 2 entries ?

Part 12: Ques 44:

Are you a male who lived in the United States at any time between your 18th and 26th birthdays? (This does not include living in the United States as a lawful nonimmigrant.)

If you answered "Yes," when did you register for the Selective Service? Provide the information below.

what option do I select if I stayed in USA on H1B between 18th and 26th birthday?

Thanks ... I got married January 2017 but got to the US December 27th. Will definitely work on the 2017 tax return since I didn’t file for it

Since you arrived dec 27 and did not get married until january 2017 then you do not have to do taxes for 2017 since you're #1 not married and #2 a foreigner/alien. You can only elect to be resident alien if you are already married by the end of the tax year (dec 31). But you can ask the irs to be sure. But i'm quite sure you don't have to. You just have to file for taxes on 2018 and 2019.

If you are filing more than 5 trips or 5 places of residence online, then all yopu can do is attach the documentation where it asks you to upload files. If you are doing a paper-filing, then attach it as an appendix to the application.

If you were here in the US between your 18th and 26th birthday, you have to mark "yes". The place where it asks you for date of registration, mark that as did not register or leave the deates blank with a comment.

Not sure if it is true. It’s said: “This does not include living in the United States as a lawful nonimmigrant”. H1B is a non-immigrant visa, as far as I am concerned.

I-751 Timeline/ EAC - Vermont Service Center

9/23/19: I-751/ G-1145 sent by USPS Priority Mail

9/25/19: Received Date

9/26/19: Notified by USPS that the package was delivered (one day later... 🙄)

9/27/19: NOA1 Date (also the day USCIS texted me saying that they've received  my package on 9/25)

9/30/19: Check was cashed

10/3/19: Received NOA1 by mail with 18 months extension

10/11/19: Biometrics appointment notice

10/21/19: Date when I received my appointment letter

6/25/20: email from  USCIS saying that card is being produced

6/26/20: email from USCIS saying that case was approved

7/15/20: email from USCIS saying that card was ready to be picked up by USPS

7/16/20: email from USCIS saying that card was taken by USPS

7/17/20: I received the 10 year green card!!!!🙌😎

N-400 Timeline/ Online

9/22/20: Window opens and I sent my application online

10/1/20: Got my NOA from USCIS via mail (in which it is said that the notice date, received date, and priority date are 9/22 (the same day I submitted the application)).

5/15/21: Biometric  appointment scheduled

6/11/21: Biometrics completed

7/14/21: Interview scheduled for 8/9/2021 (however, I have moved, and even tough I had told USCIS that I moved in June 19, I still got an interview from my old address). I cancelled the interview and requested a new date.

9/8/21: New interview scheduled for 10/28/21

10/28/21: Interview day! Interviewer was super nice, not much of wait. I brought some documents, He told me that I did the favor of submitting more than enough documents online and he did not have to see any more documents and that he would recommend my case to be approved. (Also, he laughed a lot after seeing a picture of my husband and I with Rosie O'Donnell)

10/29/21: I checked on my USCIS that my oath ceremony was schedule for 11/10/21. It was really quick, actually the letter only arrived around 11/5, but they upload myUSCIS much quicker than USPS delivers the mail.

11/10/21: I became an american citizen and my journey here is over. Thank you everyone for the advice and good luck!

Trying to get the application in before October 1.

If you have a traffic citation and paid fine but no jail,  can you please share how did you fill the crime and offenses section?

The way I read I have to say yes to at least 4 or 5. Seems a lot for 1 traffic citation.

Filed N-400 (online / IOE receipt number) on 9/25 for my wife. We were eligible to apply in June 2020, but were expecting our first child and at 33 weeks pregnant in July my wife had severe appendicitis and a ruptured appendix!! Needless to say, after recovery from that we had our baby and, well... only just got around to applying this week, as we really wanted to make it in before the fee increase deadline! Our online receipt states estimated case completion time to be February 2021 (5 months) but I am not sure how much I trust any timeline. Her green card doesn't expire until 2030 so for the first time we aren't worried about a timeline and feel we can just sit back, relax and wait! Wishing luck to everyone else on this journey.
